Looking great so far mate! BTW, while you have it opened up like that, could you maybe post a picture of its ratchet joint from both the shoulder attachment and the hip? Thanks heaps.

I also notice that you're going for the movie accurate look which means that you're sacrificing the transformability for its accuracy, but what about the back? The back has always been a problem since it's thick (due to its battery compartment) and it also makes the overall proportion a bit off. I mean, paint it all white and you'll have a gundam figure, right?

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

The part of the hip joint that is attached to the main body is facing the wrong way, it shoud be rotated so the teeth are at the back.

I wasn't planning on changing the back, I need the battery pack to power his LEDs. I like the look of him with a bit more bulk. I might make some changes to the mudguards on his back, not sure yet.

Thank you so much for the pictures man! I've always wanted to know how ratchet joints work on these figures. Now I know!

BTW, where do you usually buy your TF figures? I noticed that here in Sydney, everything is much more expensive. I got my leader prime at AU$75 back home in Indonesia but here you have to part with a whopping AU$99 for a leader class figure!

I get most of mine from BigW, a leader is $86 normally, on sale you can get them for around $65. I've picked up some very cheap ROTF figures from Kmart on clearance.

I'd like some opinions on these mirrors, are they too big?

Hakka, excellent work. The mirrors do look a little too thick, I agree but they are so much better then the stock set so keep em!
