Went to the one by my local Best Buy today hoping to score some Wave 2/3 Generations. All they had was wave 1 of that, HftD and some Tuner Mudflaps and the first TFA exclusives.

Though I did feel like I was walking through a KB Toys again. It was a nice feeling.

 

Dude, I totally know how you feel. It's almost magical. KBToys was a big part of when I was little, so seeing TRU express was basically like part of my childhood was alive again.

Couldn't hurt to look again. The TRUE here has Animated in its own little display far apart from the rest of the TF merchandise.

 

These TRU express stores remind me mostly of what Kay Bee used to be like in the malls. A smaller size store with a selection of stuff to maximize its size. They'll have a bit of everything, but never all encompassing like the larger TRUs

 

I got my Animated Grimlock at the Tulsa, Oklahoma TRU Express for around $9.  

 

Is it just me or is there no rhyme or reason to the sales at TRUX stores? Someone from the WI sightings forum mentioned that the store by him had Animated deluxes for half off. I stopped at the one near me and Animated deluxes were full price but they had some buy two, get one free sale for all deluxes.

 

Maybe each xpress has more leeway to run sales, etc.
