o_O  Jesus! I don't know how serious you're being but WOW!

I'm pretty sure it counts as spam when you post nearly the same post over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over (you sensing a pattern here?). Seriously, I've seen you post nearly identical statements within MINUTES of each other. That's spamming, my friend!

Humm not blown away by the artwork it looks like they've gone for the common ground between Animated, Movie and War for Cybertron, I'm not sure it really works although there is a hint of Beast Machines in there too which interests me slightly. If the story is good I'll watch it, I shant read it as I gave up on Transformers comics while back.

I really like Arcee's new look, but her constant plea to be left behind and Cliffjumper's constant rebuking of her plea got old fast. Please guys, can't you come up with some more/different dialogue?

    A: Leave me!
    CJ: Can't hear you!
    A: Leave me!
    CJ: Can't hear you!
    A: Leave me!
    CJ: Can't hear you!
    A: Leave me!
    CJ: Can't hear you!

Other than that, nothing that really caught my eye. Seems pretty basic as far as TF stories go. I do love the cover with Arcee and CJ on it though, but only because Arcee looks so good in it. :D

Like I said, it's made in the same vein as most tie-in comics: a story that's vague enough on the important details that it doesn't conflict with the source material. Unfortunately, when you do that, and the story isn't all that compelling on top of that, it's ultimately skippable.

It's worth a flip-though at the book-store, but I'm not putting money down for it.

Yeah, how dare people not want you to blindly judge a whole show based on small snippets! Buncha jerks.

It's an interesting mix of styles.

As with Animated, which I didn't care for - I'll wait to see how the style goes. The tiny bit I saw @ BotCon (or was it from CCon? ah well) looked ok.

Then again, as with Animated's style - which I never quite liked - a decent story with or without eastereggs & older-audience nods, goes a long way w/ me.

Nothing like your 7 y/o who you've recently been showing G1 DVDs to exclaiming over some of the eggs in TFA "Mommy - that looks like Sludge!" while I giggle over the billboards & place-names.

    I just realized.

This is in the same artistic vein as the concept art of the First 13 we saw at Botcon!

i like the designs, they look like animated just more realistic. breakdown is really intresting, i hoped he is a badass sportcar, but instead he is more like a van. Hope its a tuned van though.

    I'd buy that.

1-TFP is suppose to explore what it means to be a Prime. 7 of the first 13 were apparently Primes.

2-I remember hearing somewhere that this is the direction Hasbro wants to take the franchise after the movies are done. If they want to build on the mythology, it would make sense to play it into what will be the current branding.

3-They probably just went down the hall and said "Hey guys, draw us up some Original 13 TFs". :p

Yech, cosmic malarky? What is Hasbro's fascination with that pap? Even Furman knew to cut that the crap out eventually, and he's the one who made most of it.

Is it me or does anyone else think that in the comic, Starscream looks kinda like Prowl? ( the close up shot of Screamer before the panel extends to reveal his full body) like the crest on the helmet that remind me of Prowl's or how the wings could have resembled the doors, and Screamer's shoulder almost looks like a wheel, complete with a rectangular printing...just something I noticed.Iffy on the design, need to see it in motion complete with colors ( I hope that silver isn't all, looks like a cybertronian design, wait if that would be Screamer in cybertronian mode then how does that relate to WFC continuity?)

Actually, Hasbro said only seven held it as a title, but it's clear from Exodus all 13 were the Primes (I guess it's like Optimus Primal and Leo Prime). The novel mentions their war lasted 'billions of cycles', so presumably at some point six were allied with Megatronus until a certain energon harvest on Earth...
