It's from the 2nd Almanac. They had an entire section on their plans for season 4, as well as a few toys that never made it past the design/prototype phase.

It's more like retailers not ordering and wanting to move onto the next shit with a media tie in. I mean maybe some of it has to do with Hasbro but it's not always completely their fault. I am happy the molds were at least tooled, so that both parties involved, Hasbro and TakaraTomy, want to at least make some of their money back that was invested into those molds, by releasing Wingblade Prime one way or another.

If it never made it past resin stage, we wouldn't even have a Wingblade Prime to crave.

I have AND like that Prime! Hmm...might add it to him too, to test it out.

I really want to buy this, but $50+ is too steep for me at the moment. It looks awesome, and hopefully I'll be able to buy it one day.

 

I'm not buying a crystal version I don't want for an accessory pack that's painted to go with another Japanese release I don't want. (standard Voyager Prime) Same with Bumblebee: that gold is just tacky.

I'll keep waiting, Hasbro.

 

OMG Fansproject please make this for us!!! I would pay $100 for an add-on kit like that alone.

Still I am happy with the soon to be released Wingblade (B-day present to myself), clear figure and all...I have the supreme, deluxe, and activator mould so the clear voyager will help it stand out more.

 

That powermaster upgrade would have been really cool if animated continued. Well, AA2 have some schematics so if theres any third party companies out there make this! As for the Animated Powermaster Prime picture I'm not sure if you can post that...

 

Don't think an addon kit would do it. The schematics look like they use a modified Prime figure in the same manner that Samurai Prowl was changed to accept his armor. Wheels are closer, bumper kibble ends up on the forearms, feet look like a completely different transformation...

I mean, I'm sure they could come up with something close, but...

 

Well, I think this schematics are not for a toy but a concept for the Transformers Animated cartoons. Even in truck mode in Animated Optimus' wheels are really close similar to that and when he attaches to his fire truck trailer its attaches similat to that. So there is some animation magic. Put this in a voyager prime and we're good  

If somebody tackles this there has to be some comprises made. But let's talk about that when somebody does decide to take on this challenge...

The orthographic drawings in the AA2 are for a toy, not the aniamtion model. A toy that uses a heavily modified or completely different Voyager Prime figure, one that had the bumper on the arms, different wheels and arms.

 

Between that the Movie Prime mark 2 with unusually long arms and flat-screen TV pecs we're due to get, I know which one I'd rather have.

Well, back to buying more Mega Millions tickets. Maybe I can bring Animated back in some limited capacity before I die.
