So I'm going to a costume/birthday party tomorrow and the theme is Video Game characters. I had a few ideas, but many of them got shot down because of cost. I was hoping the groupmind here could come up with some cool ideas that will require little to no work or cost, but is something semi-recognizable. If it helps, the wife is going as Lara Croft. Thanks guys!
Could you pull off Duke Nukem? If not, what about Dr. Mario? Karnov? Ryu from Streetfighter? Spraypaint some cardboard boxes and go as an Atari character or the Pong Paddle.
Ryu or Ken... I just need to get a Gi... She would. Though everyone else seems to be going for console games, not flash games. No. She's not one for publicity, nor random people getting anything like information on her.
if the wife is going as lara croft. then perhaps a great costume for you would be Indiana jones. as their both advernture people
That's why it's a good idea! But if you want to bridge the gap, go as Tetris. Velcro up a shirt and attach a bunch of colored blocks. People can play on your chest and you can hum addictive Russian music.
Dress normally and say that you are from The Sims. I think that his wife would have more sucess with that.
Well, I got my idea. The Duke Nukem thought along with Ryu turned into a Contra dude. I was at WalMart and saw the Nerf ammo vest for the combat vest, combined with big nerf gun and 20 cents worth of red fabric I've got a costume.
