My vote went to RiD. It's often much hated by many fans, for no other reason than it's trendy to do so. I felt the anime was unique amongst TF animes in that it was actually good. Most people don't understand it's sense of humor, but it never failed to tickle me, as the only dedicated TF comedy.
It was also the last throws of the Beast Era, in terms of design and engineering, before Hasbro started over from scratch with the UT (Again, engineering-wise).
It have us a great show, great characters (Skybyte, Sideburn, TAI), and some great toys, including the best combiner in the franchise (JRX/Railracer).
So I vote RiD, because not only does it not get any support from hasbro, it's often unfairly bashed by fans. So I support a great series that very few people seem to support.

My second vote would go to Animated. Not for lack of support or attention from fans, but from being completely and utterly shafted by Hasbro, time, and time again. Seriously. The toyline was delayed for half a year so Hasbro could milk the first movie line even further, and on the end, it was prematurely cancelled by almost a full year, so it wouldn't compete against RotF. Combined with the utter refusal for putting the third season on DVD.

My vote went to RID. As much as I disliked the anime style drawing that was given to the show, I thought it was a pretty decent series with a great toy line.

I voted RiD. As much as I loved the Beast Machines cartoon, I could have cared less for the toys. RiD on the other hand was awesome. I loved the return to vehicle modes, while still keeping a few beasts. Sky-Byte, Optimus Prime, and Rail Racer being favorites. Scourge was also obviously awesome. Even being an anime dub, RiD was 10 times more enjoyable than Armada,Energon, or Cybertron.

RID really deserves some more "official" love, since many of us love the line.

This series got me back into collecting, it had some of the best molds ever, cars, vehicles, beasts, and of course

    BLACK CONVOY!

Sorry, I never liked "Scourge" for this character.

I voted for Beast Machines, but truthfully I'd like to see something developed out of the Transtech material. I have much love for Animated but due to whatever is going on between CN and Hasbro that's a pipe-dream. But Transtech could be developed. I like the current conception of it and would like to see it properly developed either in comics (that are published to the general public alongside the other major comic lines) or in toys. Preferably both.

RID! Never saw the TV series, but the toys are very well made and have a high level of articulation. I think I have every toy they released and was actually thinking of repainting some ALT/BT in the RID colors. Although I am a little hesitant to repaint a black and white cow pattern on a Dodge Ram pickup, put skids head on it and call it Ironhide. But the Vipers make perfect Side-burn, Roulette and Shadow Striker characters. Without Lamborghinis, I might have to use Ford GTs or maybe the Honda S2000s for the Alert, Prowl, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker characters. And then some of the other ALT/BT can be repainted as the spychangers. The possibiities are spinning through my head...

RID for me. Since I wasn't around in the 80s, and I never cared for Beast Wars (still don't), RID was the series that introduced me into the TF realm. Although the show does have its campy bits, the comedy plays out well and the story behind the show proved to be solid enough to last an entire TV series.

Additionally, some of the toys just kick ass. RID Optimus Prime, to this day, remains one of the best OPs ever made (IMO), and combining him with Ultra Magnus to make Omega Prime is just downright awesome. I'm also fairly impressed with Team Bullet Train, and the Car Brothers aren't too bad. Like many others have said, it started the black Optimus Prime fetish with Scourge. And when has a Transformer (before or since) had 10 friggin' alt modes (despite how cool or absolutely crappy some of them were)? Their articulation and engineering still hold up to the toys produced today (and even surpass in some instances). Shame that the Armada toyline and some of Energon was a step backwards in toy engineering.

Never knew that some of the RID molds actually broke, though. Which ones kicked the bucket?

Well This was a tough Choice between RiD and Beast Machines.

Both of these series were in my opinion some of the best Transformer's Material ever produced

Id love nothing more than a few Figure from RiD. Perhaps a redone Ruination ?, Omega Prime ? I loved that guy.

But as for Beast Machines, That line needs love. A huge amount of the fanbase loved Beast wars, and when Beast Machines began never liked it. That toyline needs some serious love. Half the figures are totaly out of scale (Nightscream ?? That toy is HUGE) or Horribly small for its figure in comparison to its size in the show (Tankor, Smaller then Ultra Jetstorm ?) Or just plain not right (Obsidian)

I can only hope that both of these series Get some much needed attention. The Unicron trilogy was ok, and thats a Longshot. Cybertron had some very innovative molds and They had Primus and Unicron. Other then that, Armada and Energon dont really have that good of figures.

But my vote goes to Beast Machines. RiD needs almost as much love (RiD optimus I believe was left out of the montage of Optimuses at Botcon10 ?), But Beast machines Needs it more. But my hope is that Both lines get attention.

I voted for Beast Machines, i wanted to see where things would go with that. i was hoping for a techno-organic mix plus vehicles and beast modes. i would also have liked them all to be combiners of 2 or 3 to make the best use of each character and have a new alt & robot modes. but i like any series that ties back to my roots of g1, and think we are due for another one.

    Voted for the Alternators line.

It's the line that got me (and from what I've read on various interwebz, quite a number of other collectors) back into the hobby as an adult, serving as a very effective "gateway drug" into the fandom for adult collectors. The 1:24 scale replica vehicles are just beautiful to look at in a way that no other TF line has managed to achieve before or since (IMO), and Smokescreen in particular serves as fantastic PR tool for when people ask me why I collect Transformers.

The complexity of some of the transformations really appeals to the puzzle solver in me, the bot modes are big and beautiful to look at, and serve as effective "masterpiece" versions of the G1 car-bots from my childhood. They are wonderful collector items that fire my imagination in and bring back the heady rush that I felt when playing with my G1 toys as a child. No other TF toyline seems to quite hit the same spot in my brain.

I'm gutted that the line was canceled, rather than being scaled back to perhaps one or two releases a year, but there's no point crying over missed opportunities. Instead, I raise a glass of single malt to what, for me, was the greatest TF Toyline ever released.

    Alternators forever!

RiD was totally underrated. Yes it was corny. But the fact that it was this series, which brought back vehicle transfomers was reason enough to give it props. Besides the fact that we not only got new molds out of it, but a homage to other lines prior to RiD (Combatrons- G1, Scourge-G2, Sky-byte- BW, Brave Max-MF/G1). RiD needs more love. Dont get me wrong though, all the other lines were great too.

RID I'd really like to see a deluxe pair or voyager pair of Prime and Magnus that combine to make Omega Prime.

R.I.D has my vote. I grew up with G1 so just having the names Autobot and Decepticons back was too cool and the Optimus mold from that line is simply one of my favorites.

RID: Because I still remember standing in the toy aisle at Wal-Mart trying to decide which of the deluxe cars to get. They were, finally, REAL cars again! And Rubber tires! RUBBER TIRES! Try finding that on a deluxe these days. Not even ROTF Leader Prime got them...
