NECA? we are talking about Hot Toys now.we need a thread only for predators , so we could talk about toys from NECA or Hot Toys ,or any other firm who makes them

Great news on the Falcon.

And does a face for him officially exist? Perhaps in concept art for the film?

 

^I don't think there is one .maybe HT didn't get license to sculpt(like to create and then sculpt) the face . like HT guardian pred:he didn't show it's face in the movie(P2) , and I don't think there was his concept (actually I don't know),but they sculpted it. they got license for that one , but couldn't get one for this pred

 

I've been thinking a lot and have a few questions about predators.I really hope someone can answer these:

1.how do they control their plasma canons?in the games they use their hand computer , but in the movies they don't do anything with them .

2.how does falcon move?does falconer control it somehow , or it moves on it's own?

3.how does falconer see the view that falcon has?I mean can he see it when falconer is only on his arm , or shoulder , or can he see it when it is far away somewhere flying?

4.how does tracker control predhounds?I know that he makes sound , but how can he make that sound.with flute , computer , or anything else?

yea I think that's it.really hope someone can help me

 

Hmm let's see if I can help:

1. Seeing how in the movies their cannon's go where they turn their heads, I would go with a device built into their helmet.

2/3. I'd say the Falcon is pre-programed for the selected target(s) or much like the cannon's their may be built in helmet controls, as far as seeing what the Falcon see's I'd say a heads up display in the helmets visor.

4. Again, unless their is a device we didn't see yet, I'd say it comes down to the helmets, perhaps even his tusks are the "flute".

about the plasmas...hmm..I remember in P2 elder predator was without a mask ,but it still worked.

Finally saw it, very good. Loved the use of the old music and Fishburn got faaaaat!

 

I found a site where they explain about helmets , plasmas,etc.

so one more question:
what guns would pred use if he was fighting a queen?
the guns to choose from : wrist blades,combi-stick ,plasma,shuriken,smart disc,whip(avp:R) , remote bomb(avp2 pc game.for ones who don't know pred throws a bomb,if enemy steps on it,or you hit enemy with it ,it explodes , usually kills it,but not the queen;or you can just throw and leave them like a trap ;still it explodes after a few minutes ),gun,who shoots spears(p2,xbox game: predator concrete jungle).
