I would rather they did soundwave first since I always wanted cartoon accurate soundwave with cassettes. Soundwave is one of the most recognizable G1 Tf's (just watch Family Guy lol) and Im sure it would sell well in US and Japan. None of this working mp3 stuff though, it would just get in the way and its too big too use anyway so why bother. Just give me accurate cassettes and we'll call it a day. Sidenote: MP Devastator would be the most amazing tf ever. MP Ultra Magnus in proper form is needed as well. Wreck-gar would be nice and is a leader. Ratchet/Ironhide and Prowl/Bluestreak/Red alert are no brainers for successful repaints. /rant
MP Soundwave needs to happen (within the next 5 years) & he needs to be a fully functioning Mini Hi-fi System (at a reasonable price). MP-sized Rumble, Ravage & Laserbeak should come with him and a supplementary 3-pack of cassettes should include Frenzy, Buzzsaw & Ratbat. The obligatory repaint of Soundblaster should come with MP-sized Overkill, Slugfest, Beastbox and Squawktalk. I would buy all of them without a 2nd thought.
I want my soundwave, complete with my Frenzy and Rumble, each with articulated fingers, piledrivers, and EYEBROWS. Transformers needs some articulated eyebrows, dammit.
NO MP Soundwave. I'd much rather see 4 other TF characters/toys gets the master piece toy treatment before soundwave like as follows: G-1 Galvatron G-1 Cyclonus G-1 Sixshot G-1 Shockwave I honestly still think the MP3 Player soundwave toy that was released a few years ago. was a excellent updated homage mold for the 1984 soundwave toy. I kinda view this MP3 Player toy as soundwaves master piece toy mold. it's the perfect update from a hand held 1970's/1980's tiny walkman into a tiny mp3 player.
Your sig pic, username, and avatar make me want a Masterpiece Transmetal Tarantulas. Now THAT would be awesome. [/off topic]
I don't need or want a MP Soundwave because we already got one with Music Label Soundwave. I have no interest in getting an oversize robot who turns into a box.
I would like to see an MP Soundwave, though I agree that his design and transformation may not be involved enough to justify an MP pricepoint unless they include at least four of his cassettes; Laserbeak, Ravage, Rumble & Frenzy. And, they're transformations may not be all that involved either, but I think a big robot with "so-so" transformation that comes with four smaller, "so-so" tranforming robots may actually be worth the price of an MP.
