    That is not true.
Transformers2 DVD/Blu-Ray disc release sold way more copies than Avatar, just for example. It sold more copies than the first movie.
If families really disliked the movie in theaters then it wouldn't have sold so well on disc. It's just that simple.

Transformers will continue on when the third movie ends. For all we know, Hasbro might keep milking the movie franchise long after the third movie.

*Shudders at the thought of countless movie Bumblebees and Optimus Primes clogging the toy shelves for years to come*

I don't know what to say, I just want transformers to live on to the end. I want the franchise to continue and never stop, that's a dream I'm looking forward to.

    I'm guessing you're not a G1 era fan.
Transformers have been around for over 25 years. It will do just fine. The Transformers 07 was okay, ROTF has no repeat play value and TF3 will most likely be the same or even worse. Unless I'm proven wrong and they can actually put some substance in the movies instead of trashy shit and too many human stars. :rolleyes2

The franchise won´t die, that´s the beauty of it, it will, pun intended, transform itself.

On the other hand, it will be nice to get some peace and quiet here when the movie franchise ends.

In my opinion I don't think it will. If armada didn't make it unpopular, the end of the movie franchise won't. Personally it will be sad. I think I may even see it in the cinema 3 times (which is rare since I have never re-seen a movie three times in the cinema).

Transformers will not end with no movies. It's been around for 25 years. The only time the Transformer brand was near dead with the early 90's, then Beast Wars came around and pump new life into it. Since that point it's been several series and movies. I expect the TF brand to go on strong for years.

I can't wait for movie toys and that whole part of the fandom to be over! I may be a suprise to some but this site, fans and toys were beloved way before the movie. Botcon were going on and yes, even people bitching about Beast Wars, G1 and everything else.

Hasbro will not let it die, its a cash cow. Would Geroge Lucas stop building on the fandom he created. I dont think so. I'm more excited to see where hasbro goes with the line after Movie Prime, Bubble Bee and the rest of those dudes have there end. They may do something cool. Or not. Dont matter to me cause G1 and other lines have always been where the core is.
