How many Generals do you think were in the audience? I'm sure they'd all have remembered him from the first movie since he was a military guy.
yet another stupid disregard for any kind of reality that spoils the immersion in a movie thats supposed to be about transformers. i guess we have to ignore things like this
its easy to think that since we never actually saw him die and they didnt really refer to him by name in either movie
"Colonel Sharp, we have an unidentified inbound infiltrator" I always thought it was the same character in both movies, but I've only watched them 100 times. Hakka.
I ran this program through a logic module: IF same actor = Different Character + No explanation THEN Different Actress = Carly + Needed Explanation ELSE Michael Bay is a dweeb ENDIF
I like his delivery of a military leader. Gen Morshower just sounds like a General's name, given the current names of the US leaders. Either way, I'm curious to see how NEST has evolved/gone underground.
Ok, now I get it. I don't watch 24, so other than David of The Lost Boys I couldn't name a single person on that show. I can understand the excitement if you're a big 24 follower.
Actually they did. The already mentioned Colonel Sharp bit before Blackout's attack on the SOCCENT base, as well as Lennox referring to him as General Morshower in ROTF after Optimus dies and Galloway shows up with his orders to take over NEST and the Autobots to return to Diego Garcia. Never actually seeing him die in the first one is irrelevant considering Lennox's team, which the Sharp character was NOT a part of, were the only ones to survive the SOCCENT base attack. Bay just liked Morshower's performance so much as Colonel Sharp that he brought him back as a completely different character with his own name. I'll grant that it's confusing, but it's not that big of a deal. Anyway... Glad he's coming back. Glenn Morshower is badass.
