Just in case, I'm checking out the list of official transformers in the new film. I'll see who will be in the new film.

Would certainly set up a second trilogy nicely, but who would direct? I'd love Chris Nolan to come in and make some!!

 

i thought michael bay said that tf3 would not be as robot heavy and i am seeing all these new transformers they just keep coming. as well they look to be all autobots that makes me believe that the cons are cgi it looks to me that there will be more robots than in rotf

 

sadly I remember how easy it is to decorate a car and call it a robot in disguise. ROTF had a good amount of Autobots and Decepticons, but a surprisingly small amount of robots.

 

I've already posted, but here is who I think the new confirmed Autobots are.

Farari - Hot Rod/ Cliffjumper (Red Sportscar, travels with Bee.)

Firetruck - Ultra Magnus (Fitting altmode.)

Mercedes - Wheeljack (I don't think there's anyway they'd name him "Q".)

Nascar trio - I think these guys might just be heavily armored cars to help out the autobots and nothing more sadly, possibly drones.

Rollbar - I heard one board member saying that he was just something to confuse the fans, and since he doesn't seem to be showing up on set since we first saw him, I'm afraid this might be the truth, though I hope I'm wrong.

i hope that the new fire truck is ultra magnus since his alt mode is familiar to animted ultra magnus's alt mode.........and watching a recent transformers 3 filming vid i saw a light blue car driving with topickup truck's maybe the blue car is my bot blur  

 

The Ferrari has to be Hot Rod, otherwise who would be the red camaro? I saw a red camaro with gray racing stripes at the convention, I think the red camaro will be Cliffjumper.

 

I still want an autobot that's straight up dark green.

 

I read the red camaro was a fan project, much like the Motormaster.

Unfortunately, we can't trust all of the photos we have seen, because there are apparently lots of fans building custom cars into Transformers to try to get them into the movie. They show up at the filming locations to try and get the production crew to consider their car. That was the case with the Rollbar red jeep.

 

is there any chance the red ferrari could be wheeljack and bay is throwin us off with the blue cedes? because like someone here said before, bay doesnt stick to color schemes of prevoius characters much. i.e. ironhide, jazz, ratchet, sideswipe, skids, mudflap, chromia, elita-1, barricade, starscream, constructicons, and wheelie. im sure there are others.

 

Who I want to see in the new film is the protectobots, things will get even more messy now that the world knows about the Transformers thanks to the Fallen, now the Autobots need to protect the humans and fight the Decepticons, that's where the protectobots come in. They escort the humans away and the rest of the Autobots will fight off the Decepticons. And what will be more cool is if they can still combine into Defensor. Anyone else have combiner team suggestions cause I also suggest the Aerialbots.

 

I also want the space bridge back. It was cool in ROTF.

 

Space Bridge? Do you mean the Fallen's ability to teleport?

Ok, forgot about that. Seemed like such a small detail then. I was thinking of more of the space bridges like in the cartoons, where there was an actual device or gateway that had to be used, which would be better to do than have it built into individual transformers. Otherwise, what's the point of alt modes? At this point there isn't much need for disguises especially when you put jet turbines and machine guns on them.

 

Cause Space Bridges are awesome.

He was supposed to be in the first movie, but no!

 

So barricade can have a rival? he already has a rival: Bumblebee. Besides, do we need a good cop, good cops are the first to go other than heroes.

 

I think it'd be really cool to see Astrotrain as just a train in TF3.
After seeing Inception, I can't get it out of my head how cool it would be to have a train Decepticon rumbling around city streets, just wrecking havoc.

Astrotrain could be like... a combiner of sorts. His body is formed out of the train cars that follow behind him. The more cars he adds on, the bigger and stronger he becomes.

 

Wish they would've played that up more, and had Barricade show up for another round.
