I found animated Ironhide at the Toys R Us in escondidio yesterday... no Rodimus though

 

Just got back from the Toy Show in San Jose. TFA Rodimus ranged from $25 to $40. Habsro MP Grimlock went from $100-125. =O

(I also recognized several of the sellers there.)

 

we really should take pictures of scalpers and have some sort of database for them...

 

A guy at Frank and Sons was trying to sell Animated Rodimus for $30!!!

 

Just remembered. One booth at the Toy Show had a Generations Darkmount and WFC Megatron on sale. $22 each.

WFC Megatron looks awesome. Darkmount looks cool too.

Hit up Natomas Target today. Nothing special, but they did have a bunch of the exclusive 2-packs. I didn't check to see if they had all four, but the ones I took note of were even uglier in person than online. I particularly remember seeing the pack with Barricade and Sideswipe and the pack with Arcee and the helicopter.

They also had plenty of wave 1 HftD and Generations Deluxes, a ton of HftD Voyagers (if anyone still needs Seaspray), PCC's, and HA Jazz.

 

Something like "People of Walmart". Instead we will have "Scalpers of Toys" website.

Got my MP Grimlock from TRU.com today, I am still looking for TFA Rodimus and Ironhide...

 

Visiting my wife's family in SoCal this weekend and went to Frank and Sons too. Found another seller selling TRU Animated Rodimus for $29. Ended up picking up a BBTS Piranacon from him for $73 and the Skywarp and Starscream Alternitys for $50 each.

 

amazingly i found a single grimlock at the bell gardens toys r us. i thought it would have been a fruitless endeavor since frank and sons goes on today and the scalpers would have cleared the toys r us's out. alhambra toys r us had nothing... that was my first stop. none of the stupid animated rodimus toys at either.

 

I got lucky yesterday morning and hit jackpot at Fremont TRU, when the folks are still unboxing new shipment (though all the new TFs are on shelves already). Got their last 2 MP Grimlock, one Animated Rodimus & one Animated Ironhide. They still have a couple of each Animated when I left, but not sure if they have them anymore now. But at least the Fremont TRU already got their stock, if that little info helps at all.

Today at San Jose Super Toy Show (first time there), I did see a couple booths with MP Grimlock asking for $100, and some has the new Animated releases, asking for a lot more than retail. While I understand they are trying to make a living, selling them like $80 or $85 would be much more reasonable, and would make a few more fans happy, instead of taking those figures back home, and build a bad reputation of their own.

1 human alliance bumblebee left. Did not see any human alliance Jazz. I went there to pick up my human alliance Jazz. Some heavy box must've been on top of my box bec. the box and toy box looked beat up. The plastic box had quite a few dents.

1 Grimlock at TRU in Corona

If anyone is in the IE (Riverside/Corona area) there is 1 more Grimlock as of tonight at the TRU in Corona off the Cajalco exit. They had 2 and I bought one. It's on the very top shelf in the TF section.

 

Don't need to work hard on it either... go to Frank and Sons, take a picture of any vendor selling TRU exclusives.

Several Drift & Thrust at Burbank Target. Lots of Battle Ops Bees... I have a feeling they'll be staying on shelves until they clearance. That's what happens when Hasbro burns us not once, but twice with the shit-tastic Ultimate BB.
