Animated Voyager Thundercracker has never been "scheduled". He's been listed as a toy Hasbro hopes to release, providing they can find a venue.

Was this different than the Arcee, Rodimus, Ironhide releases? In other words were the recently released animated figures scheduled or Hasbro waited until they found a way (which was TRU in this case)?

Animated Thundercracker is one of the remaining produced figures for Animated. he's completed the production process but is scheduled for release at this time, however it's extremely unlikely he'll never see release.

The thing is, Rodimus and Ironhide are Deluxes. They cost less so TRU was willign to take a chance to carry them. This is helped by Arcee and Ratchet initially selling out. Thundercacker, along with Blackout, Bumblebee, Optimus and the other two redecos are Voyagers and thet could be why TRU and other retailers don't want to take a chance carrying product that may-or-may not sell with no TV shows or advertisement to promote them. As said above his listing on Hasbro's site is a positive sign they are taking measures to get these toys out to us.

Because he had a legitimate question that deserved an answer.

Though I will admit I saw "ANIMATED THUNDERCRACKER" on the index and was all like "yesyesyesyesyesawwwww...."

It is, and he made an error. But I and others chose to be constructive and helpful since, well, the thread's been brought up anyway. Better to answer his question here and now that the thread's on the first page instead of just having a mod close it and make another thread somewhere else.
