Even if the twins were used better (less humor for one), I would still prefer them to be used less - if it all - and the time not given to them given to the other Autobots.

Just like in ROTF, that could've been one of the other Autobots on the Matrix trek with Bumblebee and Sam.

I never said I disliked them either. They made me laugh a lot and I am excited that they're coming back for round 3, but I would have liked it better if their voices weren't so gangster and if they didn't curse so much.

Oh and also realize that they did do something useful... if it weren't for their little scuffle in the ancient ruins, they never would have found the Matrix (Mudflap's foot smacked a hole in the wall that exposed the cavern)

I didn't find them racist and they were slightly annoying, but I could actually see them modeled after Hank and Dean from Adult Swim's "Venture brothers" cartoon :lol  I could see it work.

This would have made them awesome.

I still hope we actually get more screentime with the main Autobots though.

It's annoying because they're imitating a part of popular culture that frankly needs to die a swift death. So as I've said before, they aren't racist but simply an affront to the intelligence.

For me it was the heads. Had the heads looked more normal and less ******ed, I would have liked them. Even with the gangsta wanna-be attitudes.

My only problem with them is the loads of screentime they get. Compared to Ratchet, Ironhide, Arcee, Sideswipe, Jolt, and all the Decepticons besides Megatron and Starscream.

Other than that, I had no problem with the hip-hop talk; except for the part where they're bickering in the Tomb of the Primes. I had no idea what the hell they were saying. No trouble with the designs either.

One other thing that does bug me: the fact they're cuss-a-holics. I mean, they're supposed to be kid appeal characters, but they have a dirtier mouth than the creators of South Park? Just take out the language and it'll be better.

On the positive side, they were hilarious. Very funny characters, and seeing Tom Kenny and Reno Wilson recording on the Disc 2 of ROTF was hilarious. You could see they were having fun there.

Bumblebee is the kid appeal character, the twins are the adult appeal characters:wink:

I think I'd rather have them modeled after 21 and 24 from the Venture Brothers. It would have been funnier then because when they had to fight Devastator one of them would have said something like "We can't fight that thing it's huge" and the other one would have said "Oh dude it's going be like Luke Skywalker fighting the Rancor".

Like em /hate em , spent too much on their figures. It's nice to see them get animated on the screen for inspiration.
Would just be 2 goofy lifeless looking toys if they were'nt.

Kind of like their stupid childish attitudes , like hotshot, it'll be interresting to watch them grow up over time.

Maybe ok if they drop the gang/gangster manure. The downtown LA gang silliness doesn't appeal to the other 99.5% of the population.

I loved them; the whole wannabe gangsta thing perfectly lampooned the kind of braindead little dickheads I used to live near. They were not racist at all; they were a parody, and a pretty much spot on one at that.
Roll on Movie 3, I want more Skids/Mudflap slapstick shenanigans!

I didn't mind them at all. They were just your typical overdosed on hip-hop culture wannabes. I found nothing racist about them, as that tends to be all races and creeds, not any singular one. Any trip to the mall can show you that.

Personally, I found the movie more enjoyable by having the two lamest characters act that way, mocking all those wannabes.

People would like Optimus more if he would stop ripping off faces and be a good leader.
People would like Megatron more if he actually did anything worthwhile.
People would like Soundwave if he came to Earth instead of just sitting there.
People would like Bumblebee more if he actually had his own voice instead of talking through radio.
People would also like Mikaela a lot more if Megan Fox could act and didn't look like a crack whore.
People are going to find fault with anything you throw at them. You can't please everyone, but you get the most profit by pleasing the mainstream. The mainstream doesn't have the whole "childhood raped forever" thing going on with them. They just go along for the ride.

I personally didn't mind them at all. They were only there for comic relief really, and I welcomed it. My only issue with them is their cursing. I mean, I took my 6-year-old bro to see this on day one. When we came out, I had to give him this half hour speech on why that language isn't appropriate. I shouldn't ever have to do that, it's a damn TF movie! Keep the language a little cleaner please.

Heh, well it is PG-13 afterall. You shoulda seen it yourself first to make an informed decision.

These movies aren't made with children in mind. You gotta remember that before taking kids to see it, and test the waters to make an informed choice.

Yeah, I know they weren't made for kids, but because the language for the first was relatively tame, I just assumed it would be in ROTF, too. Needless to say, I'm not showing him TF3 till after I've seen it.
