Hey Skywarp, has that Walmart in Grandville gotten any better? That's the one close to Rivertown, right? We basically stopped going there as it would rank right up there on the list of awful Walmarts I've gone into .
It has been fully redesigned, and looks much better. but there toy selection has gotten much better since the redesign. But I still prefer targets, I just happen to be close due to family issues wednesday night.
Thanks for the update. I'm thinking about heading that way next week to catch up with a friend and I might have to stop in if I'm close by.
All of these sightings are at Grand Rapids area locations. Target on 52nd/Clyde Park has all of the new wave 1 releases including 1 HA Jazz. Target on 28th by Cascade has all wave 1 releases including 1 HA Jazz. TRU on 28th st got 5 MP Grimlocks in today. I seen four of them get sold including the two I brought for my brother and I so theoretically one is still there as of 10:00 am. All MP were pulled from the truck as they were still unloading it while we were there. They were kind of enough to get it out for us. This particular TRU also had the wave 1 releases minus HA Jazz.
I went to okemos tru this morning looking for Grimlock. They didn't have him on the shelf so I asked the lady at information about him and she said that the computer shows that he is out of stock. Did any one on here get a mp grimlock from the okemos tru? I wonder if their computers say out of stock even before they receive their shipment. I'm just having a hard time believing the okemos store got something in on or before the time that everyone else did.
target in Ann Arbor, washtenaw ave had some battle ops BB, leader star scream, leader ROTF prime and leader HFTD prime. one animated lugnut, a ton of animated ultra magnus for 20 bucks and supreme animated prime for 25. unfortunately no MP grimlock which i'm looking for. though i was thinking of asking one of their employees to see if they got em in back.

yup they were both there. arborland plaza or whatever. (not from around here) just so you know animated magnus was like 2 aisles away from regular transformer toys on an endcap towards the wall of the store. they must have had about 8 or 9 magnus' and 5 supremes. you really can't miss it. im tempted to go back now (going to sidetracks in ypsi) but they close at 9. ill check in out tomorrow in the morning as my hotel is about a mile or two away. and this time i'll ask if they have mp grimlock in back.
found MP grimlock thursday night. man i was happy to get him. but he is staying MIB. i also got the war for cybertron gamesfor the nds from tru b1 $29.99 g1 $5.
Thanks for the heads up on Magnus, I really wanted him....but his original Price tag was too much. now he's fine and I'm LOVING him! on a side note, too look at the Ypsi TRU stock I would be suprised if TRU corporate consolidated a lot of backstock there. theres some OLD figures there. On another note these packs were new too me, don't remember seeing them before, I can't decide if I love or hate them.
Did you go to another TRU and find magnus on clearance? and then check out the TRU in Ypsi/Arbor? what other TRU is there around here? I'm leaving for chicago tomorrow so i might hit up kalamazoo TRU and hopefully they'll have it. do it! you might regret it later and you won't find it for 20 bucks either.
no, I just went to Ypsi. I should say I wouldn't be suprised if all the area Magnus were shipped to that one store. seriosly, no TRU gets THAT many of a leader class in stock.
OH SWEET PRIMUS! I had to come here as I fled from Ebay, typed in ROTF bruticus to think about picking up the set for the fansproject....my god...the prices these people want. and they even list the upcoming figures in the auction as the reason they expect you to pay so much...... Thanks MArshall for letting us know about Magnus again and proving we're not all money grubbing Scalpers.
