Animated Megatron was badass.

 

Wow, that was fantastic, I knew who Cullen and Budiansky were Yokesan and Ohno, those were really interesting and it's amazing how they've been involved throughout the decades. Dinobot got a great vid and I think it was excellent giving Animated Megatron the last word.

Just one thing after watching Cullen's tribute though: there was an episode where Ironhide flew?!

 

What amuses me so much about this is Peter Cullen's video ....

The Lockdown and Swindle cosplayers on his video have NOTHING to do with him -- but yet they're in there. LOL.

I'm Lockdown, actually. It was am amusing day for us. XDD

 

You don't watch much G1 do you? That was actually in part 3 of the pilot, "More Than Meets The Eye."

 

Pretty cool! Isn't it ironic I was just looking over the Hall of Fame winner Dinobot thread last night? Man were there some debates going on that night. People were at each other's throats!

Wish I could've been there, and seen Scott McNeil's face. Heard he was shocked but absolutely ecstatic.  

On the human side, I only watched Cullen's video.

Prime's video and Cullen's biography really just used Movie 1 Prime's voice. I noticed ROTF didn't get much love from any of the videos besides Bee.   And if they couldn't answer how they felt about the movie's "mature" tone, then why did they insert the *bleeeeep* in Bee's video?

 

Dinobot's was done the best. I'm glad the effort to recognize all incarnations of each TF HOFer was there.

 

Man, that was a memorable night. The food was great, the awards presentation was awesome. So nice to see them post the videos for all to enjoy.

 

Yay! I've been wanting to see these since Botcon!

am I the only one that felt that the musical choice for Dinobot wasn't the right one, it just doesn't suit or link to the character in any way, when I hear the touch I think of Rodimus or Optimus. The Touch should have been used for Prime instead.

What music did they use originally at Botcon?

 

I wish they'd left in the "Such heroic nonsense" line in Megatron's.

Me either. Well, the first two worked fine, but no luck with the others. Sometimes the page won't even load.

 

Not working for me right now either. None of them, either direct link or via Hasbro's TF site.

It's not a matter of not loading either, I get the Mr Potatohead can't find it oops page.

 

Same here... All of us Transfans must've been hogging up all the bandwidth!  

 

Shame they didn't put up the vids for the guys that didn't make it because Soundwaves was the best.

 

It's a shame they had to use knock off versions of the songs. I thought Hasbro was very much opposed to KOs.  

At least now I know what they meant that night when they said, "We got permission to show you all something special, so no video cameras."

They actually had two videos for Dinobot: one to show with the rest of the nominees and this one to show when he won. The first video was more "character appropriate," but "The Touch" worked well for his "victory video" (especially given the footage).

 

Yeah, something wonky is going on with the vids. The links to Optimus Prime and Dinobot's vids go to Hasbro ads for Nerf and Monopoly. Or at least that's what I'm getting.

Peter Cullen's vid doesn't seem to want to load at all, either.

 

Interesting, I hit the link for Dinobot and wind up with a video showing how to play the new U-Build Monopoly.
