Lets just hope that we actually get functioning transforming toys of all these cool vehicles rather than what happened with the constructicons in Rotf. Legend toys will just not cut it. Hasbro can take the time to make deluxe class toys that were not in the movie but we couldn't a full set of constructicons.

I was hoping Inferno or Ultra Magnus would be in TF3. For Inferno I would've expected a more typical firetruck with tons of chrome.

But I don't have a problem with this at all. It's a fantastic altmode. If it's Ultra Magnus, I could probably get used to it, but Inferno would be preferable. If it's Grimlock, they can fuck right off.

 

i highly doubt it is grimlock....my money's on ultra magnus but only time will tell.

haha i am so looking forward to the forum meltdown full of whining fans that will overload tfw's servers when the news is announced that this firetruck is someone like grimlock or ultra magnus instead of inferno or someone obvious like that.

I've had enough of disappoint about the character not being what I'm expecting them to be, so I'm not waiting for this fire truck to be Inferno.

It's a very cool alt mode though! Hope it gets a nice transformation screen time!

 

Don't be. He's connected with Bay, so anything he says may be relevant. Could be misinfo, could be legit, we can take it with as much credibility as seems appropriate.

I agree that Magnus seems more likely than Grimlock, but it's better to be prepared for disappointment while hoping for the best.

 

I'm betting it's Optimus.

 

Probably 1 of 3 possible reasons.

1.) They did not watch the videos to recognize the red Ferrari, formerly known as Rush, but now believed to be Hot Rod by dreams, pulled in before the Firetruck therefore spouted off Rodimus.

2.) The poster did recognize the Red Ferrari was in the same shot as the Firetruck, still believes it's name is Rush (based on your own photo captions, first Rush, then "Q"....same captioning technique) or someone other than Hot Rod, and leaves open the possibility to bring in Rodimus Prime as a character.

3.) Randomly picked a red transformer out of thin air that would really aggravate the fan base considering the presence of the RED FERRARI in the movie could be denied the name Hot Rod.

These are my observations.

Though, they truly pale in comparison to what I really really would like to know. And you can drop a one word answer.

I can wait for release day for the Firetruck's identity like you hope. Truly, I can. But this Jolt thing is really bugging me. I fear that he may have been forgotten like Barricade. Please, with a cherry on top, tell me it isn't so.

 

What I don't get is when Nelson says:

Optimus gets his trailer blown up, obviously, and his cab is also damaged, so he reformats to a firetruck.

true man. i really dont mind wat he's called but i still cant picture him being grimlock, either way this is shaping up to be way better than ROTF. i did love dat film but i felt, like many others, it lost the heart.

 

OK I am not asking who that ultra sized fire truck is....but if you could is Ultra Magnus in the third flick? yes or no please
