Highbrow is looking like a pass for me, and I absolutely refuse to touch that god-awful Fallen mold ever again.

 

Ye gods... There's factory theft, and then there's this. Did they leave any to go out to retail?

 

Has anyone noticed that Highbrow kind of looks like what Springer was supposed to be? You know, the Propellers on his arms?

 

I LOVE them both especially the fallen, the removable face is pure win!

 

I've been trying to avoid repaints, but I may actually break down and get "Give Me Your Face" Fallen.

Highbrow looks excellent and the battle mask design is well-done. Looking forward to it.

Actually, it is indeed more like a P-38 that was produced and used in WWII: Lockheed P-38 Lightning - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is highly unlikely they would have designed it based off a little known Russian plane that itself was not only based on the P-38 Lightning, but was never produced.

 

They do that in lines other then Transformers all the time, besides he looks so much more like the G-38 then the P-38, My great-uncle flew them in WWII (P-38), I know the plane like the back of my hand, and it's just not too similar.

 

That Fallen would actually be the perfect oppurtunity for me to make an awesome Leader Fallen...

 

Highbrow is a pass for me, but I want that Spear Fallen.

 

I wasnt considering Highbrow but he looks like a mix of G1/movie designs like Hubcap and possibly Lugnut. As other said, he will be a great rival for Lugnut. Cant wait to buy him.

 

I wholeheartedly agree. I'd love to see more "vintage" vehicular transformers, the day HasTak makes a Model T transformer I will be a very happy organism. The Generations line seems like a perfect place to experiment with the GI Joe 1940s crossover comic, since they're using that line to bring out obscure comic book characters anyways (Straxus/Darkmount for example) ahhh 1940s Grimlock as a WW1 styled crawling fortress, the Seeker jets re-imagined as Zeros.....beautiful. Moar old school vehicles HasTak, moar!

on a related note, a Decepticon repaint of Highbrow would indeed be sexy, they could easily throw on Triggerhappy, Misfire, or Slugslinger's colors on him and make a beautiful Con out of him.

The "Give me your Face" Fallen, nice! I really hope that's what the packaging calls him, just for the laughs. after all Hasbro has shown that they pay attention to the fan memes, (Universe Hot Shot's license plate does say "jaAm" after all)

 

Highbrow is bought on sight. He is total win.

The gimmicks on the Fallen are pretty good, but the color scheme is weird. Didn't Hasbro say at a panel that the final release would be a lot darker than what we saw at BotCon/these pics?

 

I still wish Highbrow was blue... Watch the repaint have a more Highbrow looking head, and be blue, but end up a Decepticon...

I was already considering it because of the spear, but the color really turned me off. I'm sure they'll rerelease it in accurate colors at some point, but I gotta have this. I really didn't think they'd make it.

 

When are these slated for release?

 

I haven't bought a Voyager in ages, but seriously, Highbrow looks like a really easy buy. He has an awesome alt-mode and a cool robot mode with the first functional goggles on a toy.

 

Which figure, Fallen or Highbrow? I definitely will buy the Fallen, the retooled parts look cool, and he has a staff! The regular Fallen figure is call but this one might be better.

As far as Highbrow, looking better but man I wish those wings were bigger.
