conquest, disguise, proton burst rifle, heal ray, and shockwave.
fly into a node, melee, shockwave, usually clears it fast, if there's a survivor or two, a couple proton bursts will kill them off, made lvl 25 in less than a week 5-10k exp without double xp

I use the Shockwave body form, and invest in the sentries, heal ray and the photon burst rifle. I hit people at mid range with my sentry and the rifle and heal anyone who's helping me or steal health from enemies if I get the chance. Works well.

I run away alot. And then from the skies I dive in fast... shoot the crap out of someone, and then up up and away. Not a great plan..... I get shot down alot. But its loads of fun.

Play Power Struggle. Fly in, drop your sentry near target and fly off a little ways away. Use Drain and EMP Shotgun and grenades when necessary.

EDIT: I forgot, try to keep the reticle about shoulder level. Head shots will take you a long way;)

The best way to play as the scientist and this i have to say its by far my favorite class but a good perk/weapon layout for this is as follows.

    Weapons:

Photon Burst Rifle, great for long distance attacks because as a Scientist class you MUST play from a distance 90% of the combat and also is the 2nd strongest weapon for this class it also allows great snipping with the option to attack close up or mid range damage.

EMP shotgun, this weapon is your 1st strongest weapon for this class in close combat it can one hit kill to the head a scout and leader or solider it can cause MASSIVE damage...one headshot to these two class followed by a melee with cause instant death.

    Perks:

    Shockwave
    Sentry Gun

    Shockwave damage increase
    Sentry damage increase
    Extra health grande

Now when actually using the Scientist class in combat its good to find areas where you have the upper hand like high ledges...and using the photon burst rifle you can take out enemies from a long distance and cause major damage.

Now when facing classes like a leader class using warcry its good to use these steps and the same can be used against soldiers when in close combat.

Use your sentry gun to distract them and begin to cause damage then quickly shockwave them. This will cause them to be blown away...then use your photon burst rifle you will have the advantage here since most leader class and solider class weapons dont deal great damage far away unless its a direct hit.

Lastly, dont try to be Rambo with this class its best to be a back up support.

This method may or may not have been outlined elsewhere, but here goes:

You need to either have voice chat enabled or make sure every other player knows what you're doing, because it requires co-operation between both factions to work!

At the start of the match, race to a pre-defined checkpoint in Conquest mode. The first faction to reach it takes it, then backs off. The opposing faction then takes the same point. Rinse & repeat until time runs out, easy exp for everyone involved!

Admitedly, not limited to just the Scientist class, but easily the most effective way to level!

If you're talking about levelling through regular play, the easiest way is to definitely play the support role. Deploy plenty of drones, spam the energon grenades and ray, and avoid ground-based combat! You have wings, use them! Again, in conquest, set up a defensive perimeter around a contested control point and watch the exp rack up!

As a scientist, I level up by reading books, scientific journals, and performing experiments.

Just wanted to let folks know we chose BlackbirdSR-71C's response as the winner for this round. It was close, but BlackbirdSR-71C was detailed and easy to follow for someone who hasn't played yet.

Feel free to continue to post in this thread even tho the code has been given out, you never know who may be looking down the road! :)

We have 2 more codes coming today, keep an eye out for them!
