You made it sound like the PS3 was incapable of handling such an event, though it in fact can.

We all know High Moon Studios favored the XBOX 360, they've told us so. Still, it would be nice for them to do something with those of us who don't have a 360--this is the second time they've let you guys have a game with developers, is it not?

 

Man... they had to pick this weekend. I'm already going to be away for a good chunk of the weekend, and I was going to try to squeeze in some Rocket Race in Halo 3. Assuming of course I can coordinate some time with a friend (Not big on chatting with complete strangers, and a two-man team game like Rocket Race needs communication). Well, maybe I'll get lucky and I'll find time for both.

As for the DLC, I think it can wait. Can't quite justify it at the moment after the SDCC Star Wars figures came to $22 shipped from HTS. Also, I haven't even touched Escalation yet (probably because I don't want to just join up with random strangers) so I'm not sure I'd get the full value out of the DLC just yet.

 

Cool Beans. Still want that DLC pack for PC. You can't satisfy my needs!!

Don't turn this thread into a fanboy war. that's the last thing this community needs is to complain about who the hell gets exclusives and who doesnt. I'm sick and tired of fanboys complaining about how they're better than the other side when in fact BOTH sides are being childish. you spent your 100+ dollars on getting a system and buying your games. surely you can just say "i'm a gamer and I like to play.... " and not cause a huge fuss about it. we're all here to play a game and so what if there was an exclusive DEMO.
for gods sake we all know activision is a bunch of sellouts anyways. Everyone saw how easily they threw infinity ward out...

I don't consider myself to be a fanboy—I don't know enough about my system or the rivaling system. I know they're both pretty powerful machines with their pluses and minuses, and I really don't care which system is on top--I don't get anything from it.

I do, however, want my system to get the same things as its rivals, considering the game’s director touted the game I purchased as being identical more than once. Ignoring 2/3 of your market, that's what it feels like anyway, while showering the other 1/3 with exclusive services (demos, exclusive interviews, gaming nights with devs x 2) sucks. Throw us a bone, too, is all I'm sayin'.

You can't. It doesn't exist. High Moon Studios doesn't yet know how to deliver extra content to the PC. Matt Tieger (the game's director) has said that he and his team are looking into ways to do just that, but unfortunately, they haven't found the way to do it yet 

 

Looks like I'ma have to make time for this weekend to play on Xbox live since last double XP weekend I didn't get to play much. Almost at level 10..  

 

Count me in as well, probably gonna sit up all night from friday to saturday to gather some XP!

Very nice - I can try and get some of my levels back. I knew Prime mode reset experience points but had no idea it also took away challenges completed, but hey, thats a nice thing when your trying to get the points back up.
