The one "fishman" form of the Kraken looks like a Sahuagin from D&D (not sure if it's in any actual myth)
    sahuagin

Great work on all the bots and cons.

I never thought about getting one of those D&D monster manuals. They have all kinds of monsters in it.

If you decide to do a combiner of some sort, it's combined form could be a Cyclops.

Having not paid much attention to this thread and having not read any of the posts (just looking at the pix) here's my two cents:

I've always been a HUGE fan of Beast Wars and love almost every TF that has a "beast mode". I say almost because there are limits to everything, and sometimes a concept is taken too far.

The biggest problem, in my opinion, when it comes to beast TFs is trying balance the beast from the robot. I've also found that this is particularly difficult when it comes to traditional pencil/ink art, as a lot of the art tends to lean a little too much towards the beast and neglects the robot. These are, after all, robots in disguise. So inside, they are pure robot. The original Beast Wars art that appeared on the packaging neglected this fact, and there's a little too much beast and not enough bot. Mainframe did an amazing job at seperating beast and bot between modes. So they look like animals in beast mode and robots in robot mode. I feel this was due to the use of CG. The Transmetals line was a bit more of a return to the G1 aspect, where the beast mode was obviously mechanical, and therefore you avoided the whole beast/bot balance problem all together. The Transmetal II line was a bit of a stumbling block, as the robot mode was a little too beast oriented, but that's just a personal preference on my part.

So, how does this tie into your pix? Well, mythical creatures are still beasts, so the same problems apply to your art. Like I said, balancing beast and bot. In my opinion, the robot mode should not be "furry" or contain an excessive use of claws (for hands and such). The inner core of the piece is robot, after all, so the beast mode is really only a shell. I think that so long as you can keep the robot mode the primary focus as far as robot mode pix go, you should be alright. It's an interesting concept that comes with its own challenges. I've taken a look at the pix you've posted in this thread, and I think some pieces (Prime) are better than others (Pheonix) due to how you've balanced beast and bot.

Whew, that's a mouthful right there. Don't take any of my crits personally, I'm just stating what I like and what I think is the best way to do a TF with a beast mode. But I'll keep an eye on this thread; it does look interesting. :thumbs2:

It's ok, I don't take crits personally. Unless you were like "that stuff sucks" or something like that. But criticism is what im looking for. Cause im changing things on them everyday. But yeah balance between the 2 is really hard to pulloff.

Im going with the Maximals/Predicon symbols. But Fenrir is a exception. So far without ruining the story, its gonna take place right after Beast Wars as though Beast Machines never happens.

Does anyone have any pics of BW Megatron before he came to earth? Cause in the first episode it looked like they didn't have any alt modes. But im guess if there was no war on cybertron then they wouldn't need alt modes.

I think. (not sure) but in the beast era altmodes were more like costumes. They used them to hide, explore ect. not for war . I think they got new altmodes all the time.
