I don't care if this is another "random" topic. I reached Prime Mode yesterday and just want to see if anyone has any questions about it. If not then fine.

All I know so far is that you have new set of challenges and these ones are harder than the other set. These include ones such as to kill 15 people without dying and to do things like activate your 3 killstreak ability 2 times and so on.

Though I face a problem of Arcee's chassis being locked again. It says to complete the Autobot Campaign again.

 

I know all about Prime, the challenges are pretty tough and I had this problem too but not because of going Prime, to fix it I just beat the last checkpoint of the campaign and poof both the fembots were available again.

It was odd, I got a glitch that reset all of my custom classes and relocked them.
Try this on easy and you should be golden.

Was that when you entered prime mode? it's supposed to reset all your classes and lock them.

 

Tell me if I understand this straight.
When I rach 4x25lvl and press prime mode so then:
1. all levels go down to zero
2. I recive acces to many more challenges like these about "Look! No wheels!: dash 500 000 metres in multiplayer". what happens with those I already done?
3. have to finish last chapter of bouth campaigns for unlock fembots again

Wahts else will be new? There will be some change in my nickname like Kaderia Prime or I will have Matrix icone wich one I saw in lobby? What else?

 

you shouldn't have to unlock the fembots again. That has to be a glitch. EVERYTHING resets: your levels, classes, and already completed challenges.

There is no change to your name.

 

So if I have 125 oponents killed with a sword then it will down to zero, yes?

Nope, it was quite some time later, just a random glitch that reset them all again.

 

Yeah, the old challenges reset... and it's a good thing or else levelling again would be PAINFULLY slow

 

That is true. Though I'm taking a break from WfC. I've been working for a month for Prime Mode.

 

So tell me plz, when everything is reseting and losing what benefit is granted from Prime Mode?

yeah, achievement/trophy plus an nifty animated icon! In all seriousness though it's not worth it. I just wanted all 1000 points which I now do.

 

The instruction manual mentioned the abilities and XP resetting. As for benefit, I thought I remembered Tieger saying in an interview that High Moon would be creating special DLCs in the future for Prime Mode achievers, unless he just meant it in the form of challenges.

 

That'd be nice to get some kind of reward later down the line for Prime.

Right. So give me piece of advice. There is no practical reason for select this mode until there will be some information about rewards from developer, right?

 

psh prime mode is just like every other game people who arnt that great can get it by playing the game allot. Ive yet to play one player who has primed as is actually any good.

its cool but its so not worth it. Should atleast unlock skins or weapons get like a bitching PRIME staff or somthing.

You'd think most people who put that much time into the game would be good by default. More time = more practice and practice makes perfect. I've gone prime and nearly have all my classes back to max. (lowest being 21) I'd like to think I'm pretty good at the game. I know there are lame ass boosters and kids that just suck but honestly if they suck they won't get many points and it'll take them that much longer to go Prime.

Was it worth it? Yes.
I have all of the achievements and I know I've successfully demolished the entirety of this game, now I'm waiting for the epic DLC to come my way. Being at that 100% marker when I download it makes it that much sweeter. The concept of worth is subjective, what something is worth to me may be worthless to another.

 

well thats true you would think that but its not the case.
getting fed up with the players on PS3!! exp while playing team based games i dont wanna see you go 12-2 with 11 points in a power struggle game just to get 2000 xp points F THAT BS!

theres really not to many boosters on ps3 and ive yet to run into a boosting game. its just almost everyone sucks lol
