Well Cable's dead in the X-comics now(I don't know the specifics, something to do with sacrificing himself to save everyone else or something). So Marvel probably chose to cut him because of that.

 

Don't know about the girls, but Capcom said that Amingo won't be returning.
Some thing that is bothering me is that there won't be many new characters(ones that didn't appear in MVC2) left, only three or so.

 

Really? I had no idea.

Is Captain America still dead too? The last I read about him came from the Civil War series where he died I think.

The thing is though, it is comic book dead right? From what I can remember, being dead in a comic book is like being fired/quiting in wwe. You're lucky if it lasts more than 4 months.

But from how it's looking, a lot of characters probably won't return either. I was told that Sabertooth is probably cut because he's dead. And I doubt the likes of the Silver Samurai, Anakaris, Marrow, and Thanos will return...

 

Its like people want the exact same cast, whats the point to that. If you miss those characters in this setting we still have MvC2, its not been taken away.

The creator of Phoenix Wright has stated the if there is enough support for him to be in the game, he'll go to the director of the game and fight for Phoenix to be in.

 

Cable died in a comic that came out literally less than a month ago, so unless you were following the "Second Coming" story you probably haven't heard about it.

And his mecha-arm is still left. I'd imagine that's how they'll eventually bring him back.

 

A shame he's already been confirmed to be cut...But I recall reading somewhere about them not being able to figure out a viable moveset for him (Well, in TvC. But I assume that also applies to this too)...

I already miss him.

 

I THINK Steve Rogers is back. But he's running SHIELD now or something, while Bucky is still Cap.

Yeah, nobody stays dead anymore. But if he's still dead by the time MvsC3 comes out a year from now, then I can see why Marvel passed on him. Lack of interest in him or what have you.

That's great that people want him in. But if I recall correctly, the courtroom shouts wouldn't be viable as attacks because they would be of different sizes in the translation from Japanese to English (But I don't really see how).

I don't see how Saki is considered to have no fighting capabilities. She's a member of the EDF...Just because she hails from a dating game doesn't mean she's not a fighter...Her attacks are based on shooting the BFG she is always holding. You don't even need an imagination to create a moveset for her -_-'
