Woo. Nice explosion of good info there. I'm a much bigger fan of the 4part mini series' that I am of the one shot Spotlight comics.
I have to wonder if Lockdown was a Hasbro-mandate, because this decision is already going "to sell toys".
As far as I know, it was me and Miraibaby. I was tweeting a few updates and then realized I was the only person in, which made me spazz when I realized my updates had just been...well, spazzing. But I hope this information helps! I want to point out again that the image I linked in the first post is NOT the one shown at the panel. It was an actual page out of it, with Lockdown half-crouched over a dark background (night, I'm assuming). It looked a lot like the ROTF, but G1ized, so I doubt there'll be another toy. If there wasn't one made for Animated Cyclonus...they might just tweak the ROTF one slightly and rerelease as classics. Or would that be too quick?
well that was pretty uninformative :\ kinda sucky about Lockdown and Punch/Counterpunch tho. Cuz i already have ideas on where i'd put the characters and i know thats probably not where they're going ah well
And that Awesome looking illustration proves what, exactly? I'm sorry, but comparatively, I found Don's art and designs far more exciting than any of the other artists' entries (not that the other artists' work was bad or anything).
I hope when they say that Don will tone down his style that they're referring to those ugly faces being replaced with more normal looking ones. I like the body designs, but the faces have to improve. Everything else sounds pretty cool, especially the appearance of Lockdown and a P/CP mini.
Possibly the best news out of this con. Wish we knew more about the Wreckers not a Roddy die hard but I find that I don't hate him as much if at all like I did in my teens. Lock down rocks and P/CP is cool hope don does g1 faces and designs like he did in dw ongoing. I will miss spotlights. Wish we knew when springer was comming back.
I'm going to keep my excitement for the P/CP mini-series in check for now. I need to know who is writing the mini-series first. If Costa is going to be the writer, no thanks.

Dons an awesome artist , and i didnt mind the way he did there bodies....but the faces ? nope , they were all the same and took away from the rest of the awesome art he did
Hot Rod in space : Good. Lockdown in Drift : Good. Don hopefully going back to his older style : Hopefully Good. I like what I hear.
