Trish I knew was from DMC. Although the only DMC I've played was 3 and that's the only one she isn't in.

As for the "dog", that's Ōkami Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun, in the form of a white wolf, from Okami.

I am surprised that there hasn't even been a hint of Peter Parker anywhere.
I hope Activision doesn't have some dick-type exclusivity on the character appearing in any video game.

 

That would suck. I'm hoping at this point Spidey is just such a foregone conclusion that Capcom deiced to just reveal him later on. Besides there is that huge Spidey balloon in the NYC background already.

 

 
Spidey's in though. One of the shadows behind the Marvel logo is him doing the 'rub the back of head' taunt from MvC and MvC2.

 

Daredevil and Punisher not being in is disapointing but why no Ghost Rider? Seriously he would of been bad a##. I can see punisher and daredevil being to close to other characters but not really ghost rider. I'll get over it since I'm not a huge ghost rider fan.

Thor and Amaterasu Gameplay

 

No Ghost Rider hurts, especially because he was a last minute cut...Sadness would be overwhelming if not for Amaterasu!  
And no Rival School characters? Damn. I liked Batsu from TvC...
But I'm still hoping for a SF3 or 4 character. Like Alex in TvC, how about Twelve or Sean (Though extremely unlikely for those two) from SF3 or Rufus or El Fuerte from SF4?

Anyway, much like I was for TvC, here's hoping for Captain Blue.

EDIT: Ammy kicked ass. Looks like she's gonna be a fun character to play as.

 

I wonder if that's part of the reason that cable is apparently not making it either. I realize that some of it's for the sake of notoriety, but I think punisher would have been great as a replacement.

I'm disappointed by the lack of Daredevil as well. I think he would have made an awesome addition to the cast, and been an easier character to incorporate since from what I've seen of him, he just uses his cane weapon and fists/feet to attack

 

But that makes him sound a little generic, don't you think? Which is probably why Capcom doesn't include him...
Wonder if SonSon is returning. Or did he confirm all 3 (SonSon, Amingo, Ruby Heart) were gone?

 

Amaterasu looks promising and that super I can see being abused.
