Like others on here I too would really really like a larger pallete of colors to use, for both sides. White would be awesome to have for the Autobots and anything that's more of say a warm color and not purplerly/blueish for the Decepticons would be neat!

Whatever man. His post wasn't stupid. And you telling him that wasn't necessary. There's a reason why the community for this game is going down. It's because of the issues. You should see their facebook page. Almost every other post is asking for a fix. It wouldn't be bad if HM or anyone communicated back with us. They sure were talkative promoting the game. Now you don't even see them.

Considering Call of Duty's new maps are $15.00 for each map pack this price isn't bad. Also, it's pretty much the going rate for this kind of content download. It's rare that they are cheaper then this. The price does not bother me, I'm one of those "idiots" that was willing to pay $30.00 for Jazz alone (glad I didn't) so getting all of this for 1/3 of what I was going to spend is a bargain.

Noticed Megatron had his fusion cannon near the end of that video, and that was clearly Escalation.

Maybe they're finally putting the fusion cannon/ion blaster in that mode, sweet.

Not fixing online issues before DLC though is gonna tarnish HM's reputation big time. Sends the message "we don't care about issues, we just want your $$$"

It's a rip off. Activision see what people like and overcharge excessively since out of the millions of people who played MW2, a good many will bite because they don't know any better.

Same thing applies to this stuff. You're getting content that's already on the disk, IE: what you already paid for, plus 4 maps for $10.

It's hard for me to support this game when HM haven't done much about the connection issues and have slagged off PC gamers. Then their asking price for DLC is too high.

Then I look when Team Fortress 2 updates for free, and like I said before Valve just gave us 4 (6) new maps, a class overhaul with 4 new weapons, and continued support after 3 years. For the record, $10 can net you 1 to 4 copies of TF2 when it is on sale.

Speak for yourself, I myself am very excited when-- either playing this game or reading Transformers: Exodus-- I see characters from continuities OTHER than G1. Lugnut, Barricade, Scattorshot, Demolishor, Slipstream... except for Shockwave who is my favorite G1 character and my 5th favorite TF character of all time, THESE are the guys I love the most, not the "business as usual" characters.

Anyways, can't wait! I'll switch the Decepticon chassis for my "Lugnut" leader to Onslaught, that's probably slightly more fitting than Soundwave.

    new skins (esp Jazz) ?

    new maps ?

    done and done!!!!

    PS
MORE DLC please, not enough

I feel your pain, in the 90s I was primarily a diehard PC gamer....but then marriage, kids etc happened.

I couldn't afford to constantly upgrade the PC so when I had a chance to get back into gaming I chose a console platform.

hang in there PC brothers....Activision will come through for you !!!

It ight be on the disk, but it might take someone who knows how to get the info off without the DLC, so I don't give a crap wether it's already there, 4 new maps, 5 new characters to those who didn't preorder, good enough for me, and the 360 patch has helped us greatly. You PS3 and PC people just need to wait a minute instead of blowing up over it.

I'm not really surprised of no DLC for PC. When it comes to Multiplatform games, the PC version hardly, hardly, ever gets DLC. Look at Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing and the Revenge of the Fallen game.

Anyways, looking forward to the pack.

But....that's exactly why they want you to bite. They can ship you content that you won't have access to even though you paid the $60 for the disk and the game. It's like locking out the ending of the game unless you pay $5 for an unlock code to get it. They purposely withheld characters that are needed to flesh out the roster in multiplayer to short charge you for them later.

And I'm on the 360, thank you very much. I still experience the odd connection problem. I would have went the PC route but the game got such a shit port and support that the superior version is on the consoles.

I still maintain as far as this generation of console DLC goes, that $10 is a more then reasonable price for the content that is being delivered. I suppose it depends on who is paying for it, if you love the game it's a no-brainer, if you think the game is so-so then you probably won't bother with the DLC.

Team fortress 2 is also an older game (what did it come out in like 07?) with a strong following, it wouldn't make sense for them to crank out content and charge an arm and a leg for it because it probably wouldn't sell as well. This game is still new and of course they're going to charge a decent rate for their new content. Modded Warfail's overpriced maps are a ripoff, this modestly priced download is not as far as this fan is concerned.

EDIT: I also agree about the on the disc content though, all these pre-order bonuses piss me off... I really want to get Dead Rising 2 but I'm broke and real life dictates that I do the responsible thing and pay my bills. Yet if I don't pre-order I'll miss out on even more in game content that's already IN THE GAME. >.>

I would imagine the PS3 is whatever the day SCEE updates the Euro Store and XBL is usually the same day for US and Europe.

Oh man... can you imagine. It would make this a even better Day One DLC.

They HAVE to release a patch. Otehrwise the maps and characters will not work. BUT if High Moon does not sort out these horrid conenction issues not allowing to connect to any of my friends except if one friend in particular is on, then I am going straight to them and complaining that they let the community down.

    ditto.

is there anyway we can send a mass-email or signing a petition demanding that high moon address the connectivity issues?

    that's a good point StuntPrime.

they might be including these bug fixes with the next version patch so people who don't buy the DLC will still be able to play with those who did.

    Blind optimism here :)

    Stop whining!!

Jeez people are bitching about the fact that the characters are on the disc so what!? Hasbro does it all the time in a sense.
    Read this --V
Step 1: sell figure (game with hidden characters) to fans and kids. Step 2: recolor figure and sell again for same price (allow gamers to play as characters in game that are locked away). Step 3: make loads of cash off of fans and kids.

It doesn't matter we get new maps and characters anyway. Also SHUT UP ABOUT THE ISSUES!!! It takes time to fix them they have a schedule to follow. After the DLC, HMS will probably work on another patch so cool your heads.
Lastly I'm guessing the PS3 update/patch maybe in the DLC.

Some people are just way to greedy it's all give us this, give us that! Just make a request and end it. No amount of whining will make HMS do something they don't want to. If they want to make a DLC with characters we request they will, so just let it be... god that went on to long.

But you already bought the mold, the figure. Hasbro doesn't lock out features of the the toy and make you pay for them to work.

    Your analogy is bollocks.
