Doesn't matter. Editing alone can change the dynamic of a script.

For example: several scenes of Star Trek were filmed with BOTH Kirk and his Brother taking a joyride in the car.

Another example: we all saw a still from TF1 with Sam holding the cube in Mission City and the front end of Barricade.

Was it ever determined who smashed the rover? Wasn't megs, so my guess was starscream. I do like the space race idea, maybe both governments discovered something on the moon and are trying to get to it first...
I do like the direction this is going though....

In the first movie, didn't they say that the exoskeleton seen in the moon video was the same exoskeleton that attacked the base and that Transformer was I believe, Blackout? The big ass helicopter dude?

Or, maybe it's Cosmos doing reconnoissance.

 

The S7 dude (not Simmons, the guy with the mustache) said that the robot in the picture Epps took at the beginning of the movie had the same "exo-skeletal structure" of the robot that the Beagle 2 saw before it got crushed.

So, yeah, Blackout destroyed the Beagle 2. I don't think it had anything else to do with the plot of either TF1 or ROTF after that.

 

So, no Optimus another stupid speech, just another 10 minutes with people. Nice.

Nitpick - If I recall correctly, Banachek (sp?) said they had the "same exo-skeletal TYPE" not the same structure. So it's not Blackout that necessarily destroyed the Beagle 2. I don't think there was ever a definitive answer to who destroyed it. At one time, wasn't it supposed to be BB? And in the IDW comics it was Starscream's Brigade before they landed on earth.

very intresting, i can kinda understand why they picked the moon, but i would of realy liked if it was mars insted. mars is the marshon planet rite? and in the first people they should alien life on mars, so id think mars would be better then the moon. also, the moon has been explored milliens of times. mars not so much

thats just my take on it. and also if there wuz a 600 foot robot on earths moon, im pretty sure people would already know, so its ligic for it to be mars then earth. anybody agree??

 

it wasnt the moon, it was mars, hence as they sed "mars rover" and i do agree that the skeleten looked alot like blackout. but if u rmember in rotf all the protoforms looked exactly liked him, so that was also prob jus a protoform

tf3 is shooting in fl at the space center, did anyone think of google if they are shooting any kind of rockets or other crafts in space those weeks,and that the film crew will be there?

example, by some chance if nasa is shooting a big missile the 1st week in sept. than maybe mike bay is getting the footage from live cameras at the site.

I use to live in fl. And saw the shuttle blow up when i was a kid. Also went to space camp on a field trip.

Anyways what i am trying to say is they have some awesome rockets and shuttles right in there front yard as you enter. Some of those could be transformers that are in stasis lock?
