At the end of rotf I believe screamer was a changed man for better or worse I guess.So this leads me to question what will starcreams role be in tf3 and will he finally make his move on "mighty megatron"
I wish he would be G1, but most likly its just more loyal Starscream, and not even donne in a good way for the story, like Armada Strascream.
Ya, with his actions in the movie ( hes normal starscream) Ex. Sliping away at the right time, Leaving megs and the fallen to fight Optimus aka. Overpowered man, Not trying to bring Megatron back to life (Soundwave did). But when and the way he talks to Megatron doesnt justify his actions at all, he acts like a goodie goodie tootsie pop.Hopefully that will change, the way he was abuse by Megatron in ROTF, should be a hint Starscream will had enough.
How exactly did Starscream change? He seemed exactly the same from the start of the movie to the end to me.
I hope. Bay has yet to do a really imposing villian. Would be nice if Starscream takes out some Bots before his inevitable demise in part 3. I hope he gets taken out by Prime, or Ironhide in a drag em out fight if he has to go. Would really like if he crippled the Autobot air forces (if their are any). Him, Megs , Shockwave and Soundwave should cause major damage before losing the fight. If not, I will be slightly disappointed. Would really love if somehow, after all the Bayhem, he's the only Con SEEMINGLY alive at the end, tho I doubt that will happen.
Of course I want him to be a badass and overthrow Megs, but I don't know if (and tend to doubt) that'll actually happen. I'm hoping that at minimum he kills Silverbolt in a dogfight.
Though my gut says that Starscream will likely stay the same and that we won't see any backstabbing from him, I really hope he at least proves even just a little bit that he isn't loyal to Megatron. Of course what I'm hoping for is a plot that's largely driven forward because Starscream betrays Megatron. Internal Decepticon problems while they're trying to deal away with the Autobots; Megatron's got his hands full. Though maybe that could be Shockwave's role if it goes that direction. If Starscream does end up betraying Megatron, I hope he isn't as rash as he was in G1. I hope he's more subtle about it, which I think fits his movie persona better.
They set it up in ROTF.... Starscream most likely WILL betray Megatron in movie 3. If it doesn't happen, then that's a major missed opportunity to please fans and resolve that Megatron vs. Starscream bickering.
How did they set it up in ROTF? Are you talking about the space scene and Starscream's saying at the end,"Sometimes cowards do survive..."? Thelastprime said there is a lot of fan service in this final Bay film. The Starscream betrayal is a big one and it is very significant.
First movie: "You failed me yet again Starscream." Lame. but at least they did SOMETHING. Second movie: Megatron making Starscream his bitch on the Nemesis... Megatron making Starscream his bitch on the skyscraper... Little coward comment at the end... Third movie: I dunno... I just think they are going to take the approach with Starscream of not being treacherous, but just getting tired of being pushed around. That just seems like the direction we're going in.
Ya cause he did insult Megatron, with the coward comment "indirectly". I can't wait for some screamz action.
