Was listening to my copy the other day. Well worth getting if you are into the music, some of the tracks are awesome, especially the track dedicated to the Predacon trio / Gelshark / Sky Byte. That one really captures the mood of the characters.
So is this a soundtrack that features tracks from the show? Basically, are there any songs with Japanese lyrics on the disc? While I don't mind a few Japanese pop songs, I wouldn't be buying the CD for those songs. I'm more interested in the musical pieces used during the show.
I still want an R.I.D. (and Beast Wars and Beast Machines) soundtrack besides all those phony outtakes that popped up when the series was on. All except the toy commercial theme, that much was real.

There's all of two tracks with vocals, each one less than two minutes long. The intro is pretty awesome and energised, the end credits is a nice song that also plays in the final episode, during the final combination of Fire Convoy and God Magnus (track 15 is the music that plays in the final battle right before Brave Maximus comes back online). Average length of the tracks is in the 3-4 minute mark. Be advised, this is not the BGM from RiD - while newer shows like Armada, Energon and Cybertron keep the same BGM as their Japanese counterparts in most places, RiD had a completely different soundtrack.
