I've been reading all over that they are decepticons. However I can't see any Decepticon symbols on any of them. I know it looked like Optimus and team were chasing them but what if they were leading the pack? They are NASCAR's after all. They're pretty fast right?

 

Would the the Autobots alt modes would be armed to the teeth like that out in public?

I agree. I also don't think the 'Cons are too concerned either with disguising themselves too much.

 

They look like Decepticons to me, but I think it's possible they're not. Maybe Nascar don't want to be associated with the bad guys.

In one of the videos it looked like they were leading the autobots rather than a chase. But that could have been just a walk through. There's another video where they are weaving around which did seem more like a chase.

Until we see an actual faction symbol, all we have is a best guess.

Their going to be the Stunticons. maybe they won't combine into Menasor but maybe we'll get individual Stunticons. They look very much like stunt vehicles which the G1 versions never did.

i don't know if we should jump the gun and just say they're stunticons. They're probably decepticons, but they could be new guys bay and others came up with. Or decepticons with G1 names slapped on them. Either way they're probably not gonna be true to their namesakes...

well lastprime(our insider) said that someone on set told him they were transformers, so they'll probably have robot modes. It would be such a wasted oppurtunity if they didn't transform...

After seeing "Chevy" and "Impala" on the cars, I think they'll end up being Autobots

 

There are already too many Autobots confirmed so it is more likely the 3 Nascars are Decepticons. Autobots also tend not to have guns in car mode. The story seems to be about Decepticons killing people to frame the Autobots so the Decepticon cars all need lots of guns to kill people.

 

Don't try to make a point about something that's not confirmed, in this case, the Stunticons.

 

Ewww I just had a thought; "New from Hasbro N.E.S.T.ech! The humans are outmatched until Optimus Prime decides it's time to share the transformation technology with his closest human allies! Collect them all!"

Just imagine the ickiness if NASCAR gave the studio a bunch of money for cameos  

 

i bet the look of the cars are going to be modified with cgi in the actual movie, i really doubt we will see the nascar logos and stuff in the movie

It's funny no one mentioned that they are Chevy's! Aren't most the good guys in the movie series mostly Chevy cars?

 

I bet they will. It's the perfect excuse for yet more product placement.

They probably cut deals to get those logos in.
