LOL. The funniest thing about that is I already had them standing together, since I JUST thought of that about 2 minutes before I saw your post.
    And to answer your question:

Nice car mode but I can't stand robot modes where the arms hinge up on struts and have to lock into the shoulders (Movie Brawl, Universe Cyclonus, Animated Blurr etc). I'm still scarred from my Movie Brawl/Universe Cyclonus experience.

Great review and pics of Animated Roddy, Peaugh! :D

Great homage to the original, as expected!

Your best option is probs to pre-order the Takara-Tomy version from Kapow http://www.kapow-toys.com/product_info.php?products_id=2847&osCsid=e4162ea098a7deda6dcd8c04ba65219e

just shy of £20 and differences will be minimal

I have him pre-ordered and I cannot wait for his arrival.... gosh, am I ever excited! Still need Blackout tho....

I have to say Rodimus looks very good for an Animated toy, vehicle mode looks spot on and is a great homage to the G1 design. Robot mode is still to "Animated" looking to me, especially in the face, but still looks a lot better then most TFA toys I've seen.

Either way Protoman has good reason to lose his shit over this guy as he does look pretty good all around.

Beutiful toy. I got one on order from BBTS but I'll get the Hasbro one as well. Is Ironhide due in August as well?

My only problem with him is the face. doesnt look like it did on the show.

Rodimus seems doomed to that. Classics rodimus has the same problem.

Slag!!!! Just as I decided to quit the toys and save up for an Xbox, Hasbro FINALLY gets their gig together! I had given up on the rest of the Animated toy line because I thought Hasbro had their heads up their afts with Hunt for the Decepticons, Power Core Combiners and Genreations. However I am happy that Animated toys are comming back, perhaps when I walk into a store now I wont see Crap Flap (Tuner Mudflap) everywhere.  Im upset about them being TRU exclusives, It took forever for me to find Cybertron Mode Ratchet and Arcee!!! I suppose they are worth it though. Now I REALLY need to sell some old TFs, I need money for these guys!!!! Nice review Peaugh!:thumbs2:  Keep up the good work man.

Really looking forward to getting ironhide too!

Is it something that, if removed, could allow the exhaust to rotate?

Animated has been the only line where I've had to specially modify them. Bumblebee needed some filing so his stingers would fit into his arms. Lockdown needed some filing so his hands could be straight with his arms. Unaltered, his hands can only be 45 degrees to his hands.
