Keep in mind only diehard fans would drop $45 for a character that barely appeared in the movie (Hi Blackout), much as we dont like it we only make up about 5% of Hasbro's sales. Kids wouldn't drop that kind of cash on him, let alone after he's been out of sight for years now, and honestly the only reason anyone asked for it was because he was big in the movie. Starscream got one because he's a major character, and a far more marketable one. Size class is determined by if the toy will sell at that size, not just because the size is appropriate.

For movie 3, though, it wouldn't surprise me to see a few stragglers like Scrapper getting toys to add variety to the line. Like Blackout, I dont think we'll see Bonecrusher because he's such a minor character and out of sight for a while now, I'd like to have a Voyager one but I dont see it happening.

    Eeesh. I dunno.

Starscream was an eventuality. He's too well known of a character to just be limited to reaching a Voyager-class toy level. Plus, he's got enough features that a Leader-class size figure would be sensible.

^-That's another argument for Blackout as a Leader, but who knows if we will see him. With a Leader Blackout, they could at least repaint him into Grindor to go with Leader Megatron, Starscream, and Battle-hooks Prime. Forest Battle Complete!

Jazz happened because the scale of his vehicle worked for the Human Alliance line. They wanted to do Lennox, but Ratchet and Ironhide's vehicles were too big for the line. The only thing I can think of being left would be Sideways and Alice, Ice Cream Twins, Jolt, 70's BumbleBee, Sector-7 vehicles, or the upcoming Ferrari. We're already getting a HA repaint of Sideswipe and BumbleBee with a new Sam.

The 3rd bike is just a repaint of Chromia for the US, and Arcee for Japan. Not really a new bike, just a way for them to make more money from the toy's mold.

Generations Jazz, Kup and Perceptor were only a matter of time. People have been asking for them since 2006's Classics line.

As for Blackout, (see above response^).

Bonecrusher I could only see making it as a big Voyager-class size figure, like the Fallen is. The deluxe-class version is good enough to fit in well with the new smaller Voyager Prime. Bonecrusher has very long limbs, so I could see him being the Voyager-class equivalent of what Lockdown is to the Deluxe-class, a in-scale vehicle mode with a much larger, out of "class scale" robot mode. A Leader-Class with a removable head would be nice, and he could go along with Prime, but I think that is too much of a long shot.

As for the remaining Constructicons, I think these guys deserve Voyager-class figures at the most, if not, then deluxes. They have unique enough features and weapons to differentiate them from the other Constructicons, and some like Overload, could be triple-changers. Finally having all 7 guys would be nice to see. We got all the characters from the first movie made in various scales, so why not the remaining Constructicons? Legends-class figures are great, but everyone gets those. IMO, the Constructions deserve more, but nothing outrageous. So instead of making a couple off-screen movie bots, why not hold them off and finish the on-screen bots first.

And to add to your requests, I want a Deluxe-class or Voyager-class Dewbot/Dispensor. We got the Toaster and the Microscope, plus tons of Real-Gear device Transformers from the movie-1 line, so why not give us a crazed Soda Machine for old times sake? He'd break up the flood of cars and planes.

Don't forget about Hightower, Overload, and Scrapmetal (The Volvo excavator that was ripped apart for spare parts in order to revive Megatron in ROTF)!

    Oh yes, the sacrificial lamb.

Hey, remember that Voyager Optimus Prime with Jetfire parts?

What if they made a Voyager "sacrificial lamb" with Megatron carcass/parts?

You could rip apart the "sacrificial lamb" and attach his parts to the Megatron carcass to make a new voyager Megatron!

I can only hope for that to happen. For now, I am waiting to see if New-Tron has any updates on his figures.

Oh I didn't forget them, I just dont want them. Overload only exists as a Legends figure, neat design but not big on the vehicle mode, especially when the cab section would be restricted since it has to form legs. Hightower is a terrible robot mode, and I think between Rampage being problematic, Mixmaster being POINTLESSLY complicated, and Demolishor being one of the worst toys of the line, they've pretty much proved they should stick to "normal" aesthetics instead of going alien with the designs. And Scrapmetal... really? Is there any point to making any toy for him? He was in the movie for a quick gag, his box quote would have to be a gargled "AAAAAHHHGG!!".

Damn man, don't you have spell check? :p

To answer your question, I could see a leader Blackout. If Hasbro considers HFTD as a new line we have some leader class figures to flesh out the size class. He IS an important character for the movieverse. He is the first one we saw in the 2007 movie and he was just amazing. Who wouldn't love a big ass leader sized helicopter toy?

    Leader Blackout?
    again with this?

really, it isn't likely to put into production a 3 year old toy, as a Leader Class.

i wanted one, but come on, reality has set in for me as far as getting one.

i'd rather have (and even i am certain it ain't gonna happen) a Leader Class Omega Supreme from TFA at this point.

I honestly don't think this figure is that far off of actually happening.

No one expected leader screamer. Because it's generally three leader class figures per line. IE; Animated Bulkhead, Megatron, Magnus. 07 Brawl, Prime, Megs. 09 Megs, Prime, Jetfire.

So, let's just SAY the HFTD line will get three leader sized NEW molds. Screamer and who else fits that size class? Blackout is a perfect candidate.

It's a slim chance, but hell, I feel we have a better chance of leader Blackout then we do accurate onscreen Arcee triplets...

I'd love to finally see a Leader Blackout/Grindor... but it's unlikely. I can only hooope that Hasbro makes new Leader moulds besides Screamer... but ugh.

Bonecrusher I'd be happy with as a Voyager. Just a little upscale a tad.

Scrapper could be like a remould and retool of Rampage if need be... and I'd love to see an Overload as a Voyager. High Tower I could live without, but a Deluxe can work nicely. Ze little vun (don't give a damn for his real name) could be another repaint of Scrapper and Rampage.

I think if you really look at it the TF fanbase is wide enough that at least one person wants anything you can name (I for one want a classics G2 Windbreaker >_>), so basing a "it was desired by some people and then it happened" as a means to expect other figures is kinda unrealistic.

That being said I don't think we will get any variation of Blackout due to the fact that both him and Grindor are dead, and kids don't tend to want toys of dead characters. Hasbro also said that they were going to hold off on Constructicons at this point for the most part since their are so many of them, so I don't see a leader of those either.

I'm thinking HftD will see the Starscream, possibly a Jetfire repaint/remold (since the mold hasn't been double issued yet) and some other variation of Megs. TF3 on the other hand will most likely have Prime, Megs, and a certain "bad guy who is a spoiler" bot.

As far as dead bots, we have seen HA Baricade and Jazz. Just cuz a character is dead doesn't mean Hasbro won't try and milk the sale!

There is a small chance leader blackout could happen. How long is the HFTD line supposed to last? Will tf3 figs be released in the same line? If so then this line will be around for a while, hasbro has to release at least 1 or 2 more leaders other than starscream and prime. Unless megatron is a remold i dont think we will get another one of him because he already had a repaint(a megatron mold on par with SS/prime would be a miracle). The only characters they could go with are a jetfire repaint, blackout, or ironhide maybe. Didint I hear somewhere that there was a HA ironhide but it was too large in scale for the line? Blackout would work as long as the robot mode is to scale with the other leader, he would be a big ass helicopter....what kid wouldnt want that?

    never gonna happen.

hasbro said they didnt want to make all of them at botcon. they said if they had too many constructicons they were too similar to each other and would be confusing. so they went with the ones they thought were best and had been shown more in the movie, which they did.
