Okay that just kicks ass and I hate Serpentor with a passion and like how he looks. I take it that Galvatron would waste somebody in this series as well (joe or cobra) like Megatron and Shockwave did in the past two series.

    Pythona even looks hot.

That's too bad. I like the Cobra La angle. Didn't Cobra La show up at the end of the Devil's Due Transfomers / G.I. Joe 2nd comic series?

That looks awesome Don. You are the best TF artist I have ever seen, by far!

No probs for hosting this one Don :)  Wouldn't mind seeing an image of your version of 'COBRAnator Galvatron' though. :)

Will try to get some colors on this one eventually as well. :p

Shanytf, have you ever heard of this little concept called "Constructive Criticism"?

If you think something is 'bad', give an explanation/argumentation and tips, otherwise it's just bashing/trolling.

    Considering your second quote,

I feel offended for appearantly not being considered a normal artist because I do happen to like the artwork and composition. Mako's stuff is cool as well, but technically I see little wrong with this 'bad art', so if it's just your personal art preference, then shut up. If there's a real problem, like anatomy or whatever, point the errors out, as any professional artist that actually cares for art would do.

And on what are you basing your opinion? From my viewpoint, I see well-proportioned figures, detailed costumes, and metal parts that look solid. As a comic book pin-up, it's quite effective in showing the main villains of the piece, as well as intriguing the reader. It's both artistically sound and helps sell the comic, which is better than a lot of other comic cover art these days. Please enlighten us as to the reason you think it is 'bad.'

Guys, could you please do me a huge favor... I cant seem to see the images and really would love to see them. Could someone please post it as an attachment or something? I can see Don's other post of rejected artwork but not this, which is a shame. I love the TF/Joe cross overs so would love to see this so much. Some one please help!

Dude ... I love your compositions. Your pages read so well. I really like the direction of your human character designs too. They were always good, but they've definitely improved.

Can you tell us your art background? Are you self taught or did you get an art degree?

    Thanks for posting!

Yeah, I think this guy is just trying to stir people up. If he IS serious, he either doesn't know what he's talking about or can't express himself well.

Maybe this guy has just been jealous of Don for a long time and couldn't wait to come in here an bash Don's work. If that's the case, it's awfully childish.

BACK on topic, the return of Cobra La is an....odd choice. Love the tweaks done to the costumes for Serpentor and Nemesis Enforcer. And the chick's name is Pythona if anyone still isn't sure.

I'd imagine the choice for Cobra-La would probably be based on a Movie-Movie crossover. I'm not a big GI Joe fan though, so I don't know how well received it was by the GI Joe fanbase? (Used to watch it back when only now and then, but still can't recall half the names apart from the most important ones)

No offense to Don, I always thought he was one of the best TF artist out there. Nobody draws robots better then him. BUT, when he had people in his comics, it wasn't that great looking. I actually thought he would have a tough time in the comic industry if he can't do TFs.

Now, looking at the pic above, I take all that shit back. Badass TFs is given, but that's some really good human drawings.

    Nemisis Enforcer, BADASS!!!!!!

Yeah, I tried to do anime styled humans for DW at their request but it never really clicked for me. I tried :p
I like to draw my humans in a more western style and I'm gonna stick with that from now on

I'm so not a fan of GI Joe/TF cross overs (in fact, I abhor them), but this is a fantastically cool looking piece of artwork.
Also, last time I was exposed to GI Joe was this movie, so I'm familiar with the characters, for once.
The designs for Galvatron and the human characters are royally bad ass, if I saw this cover on a comic I'd probably give it a chance despite the cross over factor.

Did anyone see the other pieces Don showed at the ALLSPARK?

It was a full picture of Cobra-La Galvatron and a full picture of his alt mode.

Don, just keep up the genius because you have converted me from a semi-fan to full time disciple. :rock
