    Co-op

i've been struggling with my PS3 lately so i haven't actually been able to play much of the game so i have yet to start the story (bought the game, saving up for a new ps3 now lol)

but i got it working and my friend asked me to help him with this. I believe i was Warpath & he was Iron Hide. I kept running over to ratchet to put up the shield using L2 and also made sure to go up on that bridge up top to activate the two defense rocket launchers? And took the Turret off to walk around with (helps a lot against the Brutes [i believe thats what they are called]) Also theres a few hidden weapons that work great towards the end of the mission that are located to the right in a room.

I had the same problem! Stay as close to ratchet as you can so you can revive him in time.

Its easy... Here is how I do it.

Select Warpath and protect Ratchet with his shield. After that just activate the weapon lifts, grab the Cannons and start blasting away:thumbs2:

Oh and Stay close to the Armor and repair bay.

I disagree with the stay with ratchet theory. The majority of the fire is focused on him. I found that using warpath from far away and shooting people in the back is the safest way. Ratchet can take alot of damage but if the cons take him out run over throw your shield up to protect yourself while you revive him and then bolt again.

I would lob energon grenades to heal ratchet when I was far away. That particular part (played on Hard with Prime) was really difficult. You had to take out the seekers and the snipers. Once they were gone, it was just a matter of stamina and smart hide-and-seek gameplay in order to complete the level. It took me many tries, but I finally figured out the pattern and moved on.

If you can get to the part where the seekers go to bot mode and hover around ratchet, you're almost home free. After that you'll have soldiers and heavies to mainly worry about. Scouts are in abundance, but are the easiest to kill. Be sure to target snipers and seekers. Use the floor cannons to take out the seekers. If you get a blast near another seeker, you can take out 2 or 3 if you're lucky. I would target snipers with a blast, take out the pair of them along with a seeker or two.

Know the weapons and terrain and you'll be fine.

...there were overshields...? #@&%! Took my friend and I a good hour and a half to beat this part! We kept throwing the shield barrier on Ratchet as we took the hits.

There are invincibility charges (?) and weapons around the floor.

There is a hall behind Omega where the invincibilities are, and the weapons are to either side of Omega.

Lol, this is like the 3rd thread on this level. But it is one of the harder levels, so can't blame you guys.

I'll tell you this much, the room behind Omega is a life-saver. Use those shields and the health turret thingy to your advantage.

yeah i'm stuck at the exact same spot. it doesn't help that i only have two health bars left.
i took that missile launcher thing from the floor but it's useless against the seekers because it can't lock on

The Seeker's isn't what's giving me the problems, it's those giants brutes with the large gatling guns.

IIRC There's a gatling gun on the walkway above ratchet. Might help.

Get the giant guns and just start unloading into them. Aim for the head too. They're slow, dumb, and ugly. Not too hard to concentrate your fire there.

When one's dead, grab the turret gun he drops and concentrate on the other. When he's dead, grab the next turret and get ready for a big ugly boss.

With Brutes, try to get him to chase your NPCs.

    Then shoot his backpack.
