Findley should have made better with that chance. Hopefully the US can pull it together again in the second half.

WE HAVE THE DREADED EXTRA-TIME,both teams look out on their feet too close to call now, penalties look a big possibility now.

US lose this one, then they can look at all those chances they had to go ahead in regulation...

@#%! How did the USA lose that one?! They were so dominant especially in the 2nd half! Going into extra time, I actually expected the team to win!!! :(

    Ghana hade a better keeper.

USa misses to much,,,they need a better striker that can get the ball into the goal.

well this is sad news. darn.

anyhoo, heard something last night that i wanted to share with the soccer fans. In the movie "Dogma", Loki enlightens Bartleby on his job:

    that sound about right?
Sorry to see USA go, though.

Tough loss. I guess American soccer will go back to obscurity now that another 4 years will pass before we'll see them again. Donovan is the undisputed best soccer player in US but unfortunately there's nobody else besides him who can contribute. The Americans have a lot of improvements they need to do, starting with the goalie and the D.

Definitely a frustrating loss for the U.S. Their passing and ball control skills are severely lacking. Their offensive possessions were mired all game in an inability to finish. The defense always seems to be caught napping. Lots of little things need work, but that can only start with improving the roster. Somehow, the U.S. has got to find some world-class talent from somewhere and develop it, because getting out of the group phase is not going to be good enough the next time around.
