I'm down for Wizard World. Just bought my tickets. After the "convenience fee" I saved a whopping 13 cents a ticket. The pre-reg line better be shorter than the buying line. I'm not going anywhere near Reading Terminal. That place is just too packed with tourists on the weekend. I'll be having Soup Dumplings at the typically not packed Dim Sum Garden a half block away on 11th.

I just went there with my girlfriend's family for father's day. They all loved it, but I got gas. Definitely go easy on the steamer tray stuff and go for the fresh cuts. Avoid the potato salad and shredded cabbage entirely. The lack of air conditioning is a drawback at this time of the year, but it is dirt cheap.

 

do we have a new date picked out yet?

 

I still prefer the Oregon Diner. Someplace downtown would be cool, but going out to people's cars might be tricky.

Where have I been? Basically surviving after losing my job, last June. Couldn't find anything for 8 months and I lost my apartment. I had to move out towards Lancaster where I found a job a few months ago and have been trying to keep my head above water there.

also - dunno how you feel about it, but Pizza Hut's $10 pizzas says cheap eats and cash for figs! plus there's a TRU down the street from the Pizza Hut at the Franklin Mills Mall.
