    This game, I love it...

Though I'm afraid it'll suffer the fate of so many other less then mainstream games
and it'll fade into the background until you can't even find a single game online...

Like AvP, I loved the demo and bought the game because
it's a fun game (not as epic as the PC versions) and now you're lucky
to find a single match online and if you do the host quits once you start to win.

As for WFC, I've been playing the demo on the Xbox 360 and I'm so in love.
So much so that I find myself getting extremely worked up over it, yelling at
the Autobot scum and well... suffice it to say the word slag was thrown about a few times.

I just love the game, it is by no means a revolution in gaming but damn it's fun.
Can't wait to get my hands on the full version on Tuesday.
Yet at the same time I'm worried it'll suffer from AvP syndrome.
Everyone will move on and the game's online features will be rendered useless.

So, what do you all think, does this game stand a chance?

I hope it doesn't tank like AvP did. My friends and I were on the same boat as you with that game.

As long as WFC doesn't have the server and balance issues that AvP had, it should do well.

I think developers should pour their hearts into the single player versions and add multiplayer as extra flavor, not the other way around.

Yeah I love AvP on my PC, I just don't have time to play it anymore. Transformers will take presedence over all titles though. I think as long as they keep us interested adding characters, maps, and possibly weapons as DLC.. I will be there everyday playing my heart out getting better!

Yeah, DLC will help keep the game alive.
Not to mention the fact Transformers have such a dedicated network of fans.
If enough of us get the game we should be okay later on down the road.

Or we could even organize games via the forums here.

As long as it sells, it should be fine. There's an article/interview with the developer in the new Toy Fare, and the guy says he'd love to do 1-2 more sequels that are still set on Cybertron before they go to Earth. So I guess, ummm, everyone just needs to buy it so they make more.

I am fairly certain that the majority of people who play Heavy Metal War on Seibs will stick around. I know I will.

Free DLC. Something that should never be mentioned side by side with Activison. They'll probably charge $15 for a few extra skins and a map or two.

The sad part is the morons do buy these packs.

    I won't buy a DLC that's more then $10 unless it's a full fledged expansion.

True that. I would consider it IF they include the chassis and you can use them in missions. If they are solely for online play, screw that.

Remember the good old days when you spent $60 on a game and you got the WHOLE game?

That's what pisses me off about pre-order bonuses...
All that content is in the damn game but if you don't preorder it from a dozen retailers
you'll never be able to get it.

I just hope it's a busy game at least for a while. At the very least, I can replay the campaign if not.

What is it? Because Long Haul is a TF? I don't get it.

Halo: Reach is out in September. There will be four people maximum playing the multiplayer for WFC by that time. Same thing happened with the TF2 multiplayer; it was awesome and popular, then a couple months later there were only like five people online at any given time.
