This is sweet! I'm glad that they're making him a remold, not a repaint. Axor's head is pretty intense, actually.

Been out, yes. But in stores? No. That whole wave seems to be extremely rare for most of the stores for some reason. A lot of people speculate its because of overstock from all the other previous waves. I myself have personally only seen and bought ONE Skystalker a couple weeks ago. Minus that, I also have seen NOTHING of that wave.

 

I was wondering how they were going to get away with reusing that mold. Can't pull another "Burning Lockdown" like last time.

Still, I'm glad I didn't pick up movie Lockdown, since now I can have this guy.

 

That'd be nice. I really hope they do something different with the hook hand, just so to differentiate it a little more from Lockdown.

 

I think the entire community called that one... But glad, they should pull Axor off nicely. I do hope they replace his hook with something else though.

 

THIS. My area hasn't seen anything new in literally months. Heck we even have some of the shelfwarmers from the first movie, still. Hasbro really seemed to over-estimate the buying prowess of shoppers, what with that whole "the economy is in shambles right now" thing.

 

I'd hit that.

 

Skystalker and Lockdown aren't part of the same wave; they're different size classes.

The Lockdown/Brawn/Ratchet wave was plentiful around here for a couple months. Now the only Deluxes I see are Tuner Mudflaps with the occasional Dirge, Gears, Alliance 'Bee, and regular Mudflap mixed in.

 

Neat, but I was hopping for an Autobot repaint. The Autobots lack agressive looking cars and planes like these. Yeah, I know they are the good guys, but a few agressive looking Autobots would be cool.

 

Scattorshot, Landmine, ROTF Armorhide, Recon Ironhide would like a word with you  

 

The design for Axor's head (it'll take me a while to get used to the new name spelling) looks fantastic! I can't believe I didn't notice that in the SDCC sketch book. Between this and Banzai-tron, it looks Hasbro is finally giving me the Actionmaster love that I've been wanting for so long! Definitely looking forward to this figure!

 

Man, I don't know where you are, but Lockdown in particular seems to be a shelfwarmer at all the Targets here. Brawn and Ratchet are rather plentiful, too.

 

A nice retooled head on a repaint is a deal breaker for me. If it has one, I'll definitely buy it. Worked for on me for; Sideswipe/Swerve, Breakaway/Thrust, and Sideways/Dead End. If Evac had a different head from Blaze Master I would have gotten both of them instead of just Evac. I have Lockdown and I'll be getting this one if it does have a new head but what this guy really needs is symmetry, that's the only thing that'll really differentiate Lockdown from him. Asymmetry is kinda' Lockdown's bit.

One more thing, don’t you feel cheated that they’re doing this to avoid making real movie Runamuck and Runabout figures?

I have yet to see Skytalker. Lockdown is a shelf warmer here in Atlanta. I like his mold alot. Since Axor will have a different head, I'm definitely going to grab him. I hope they remold his right hand as well.

Where i live didn't get alot of the nest sub-line including him. I hope we get this version.

 

Nice! Lockdown actually always reminded me of Axer, personality-wise. I always remember his bio being better than the toy. Now I guess I can have my cake and eat it too! I hope the car has more detail than the white one pictured...he should be kinda gray anyway.

 

Man, I'm gonna have to buy another repaint...
