Isn't it odd how that works? It's like you'll be stuck at a certain rank for weeks and then the day after you lose it and get it back, you jump up really fast. Strange stuff.

 

Blargh, I suppose I should start playing again. I've just been too enthralled in Devil May Cry 3.  

 

Yeah, I've been KINDA thinking about taking a break, just because I know I'll be out of control addicted when the new maps start to surface.

But I don't want to go out of practice. I'm just now getting to a level where I can seriously kill some people. I've always liked being a support guy: contesting the bomb, getting the flag out the window, laying down cover fire, doing the ghost sprint for the rockets at coag, etc. But now, I'm starting to nail more headshots, land more noob combos, throw good nades, and strike it big with the lotto cannon. I feel a lot more confident going into a firefight.

With that being said, no question that teammates are all the difference. And, to be quite honest, it all comes from practice. That's why I get my ass kicked by 10 year olds all the time. lol

Maximal, IMO, was the best player in the clan before he left.

I'm just going to throw an idea out: Why don't we start another clan? We could still be TFW2005 affiliated, and have a TF name and stuff like that, but we would just be a new clan so therefore everyone who joined 2k5CB and doesn't play anymore would have to ask for another party invite, which would at least show that they're playing at some point.

I mean, I don't understand why there's so many people that don't play, because it's not like I see them online playing other games. They're just never online. And then it's like, why are you wasting 50-60 dollars, you know?

Unless, it's a bunch of people who got the 2 month subscription and then didn't renew. Would those names go off the clan list after they're no longer a subscriber, or would they stay?

 

Very good thoughts, but I'm not sure as to the answers for your questions. I think alot of those people are people who used the 2 month free subscription. By that, I'm guessing that it doesn't kick their name off.

I'm like you. I love playing more of the support role. At the same time, I've had to change my game plan and start going for the flag and bomb score, because I've found that rank is not made by just making kills. You've got to get those extra medals.

I'll tell you. Things are a bit tough on the game right now, because it seems like every 1 in 3 games, someone cheats you. Big team battle has been alot of fun lately, but either we get cheated or we only have 6 of us "regulars" and the 2 matchmade guys quit on us. We've got to try to fill a room and get some good games in.

I think the new clan idea is a good one. If not, I'm thinking you regulars could come over to the clan I'm part of for now, just so we can keep our unity. Like you said, as others get on they'll be looking to join the new clan. Let me know if you want an invite.

I somewhat agree but we should mke a clan where all our buddies can be apart of...for example a clan where both the MAC ATTACKS and Godzilla, and the rest of your clan can be apart of.A clan where we the regulars can apart of instead of having one 6 guys in one clan, 5 in another, and 5 more in another.Instead we shoul make an entire new clan where ALL OF US CAN BE APART OF!

So we could not only do Team Slayer, Big Team together but also participate in Minor, and Major Clanmatches together since i dont mean to brag but thats where we all OWN!

The Overlords from II MOB II, 2K5 Wreckers, and the 2K5CB can be the OVERLORDS and we have the regulars set up as staff.

So what do you guys think?

I have gotten a somewhat style change in my fighting..I have more confident in myself or jumping myself in the middle of a field and doing my best.I have more confident in holding the bomb and arming it no matter what happens in the end, i stick to my mission...i will arm that bomb even if a rocket, sword, or a shotgun guy stands in my way...i adjust to the current position w are in.I have gotten more of a thought in the sense that if we are behind i think What can i do to help my teammates other than dying? Its was help to you guys.I feel more comfortable in my close range combat feel.

I have full confidence in my friends where i know they will not fail me, and i think thats the reason why i feel i have gotten better.

If it means we play more clan matches, I'm game. If it means we actually attack on maps where attack is needed, I'm game. If it means we play games and 90% of the team scrabble around the base while someone goes on a flag run, grabs it, gets it out and nobody is there to pick it up when they die, then there's no sense in anything changing  

 

 

Ok we got 2 advantages as for the new clan, as for the third we are currently working on it. :redface:

 

someone needs to get me back up to speed when the new halo maps come out   wow eats up my gaming time like no one's business, currently.

 

the Halo 2 cheat fixes will be out by "mid-April" and by the "end of april" we'll have 4 new maps, 2 for free, 2 for pay.

june 28, 5 more pay maps come out, as well as the expansion pack disc for $20 with all the updates and all 9 maps.

by the "end of summer" all maps will be free over xboxlive.

 

Yeah, like Sureshot said, I think or at least hope that most of us who play online regularly know how to function as a team now. Everyone's been playing for awhile, and those of us who play regularly will do that.

I guarentee you mate, that I will contest and pick up that flag to the best of my ability.  

I like the whole "clan merging" thing, but we have to make sure all the parties are down. II Mob II 's non TF related, I think, and I don't know how big or active their current clan is, or if they think we all just suck and put up with us 'cause we're Maximal's boys.  

And as far as the Wreckers, why exactly did they split, anyway? My understanding was the Wreckers were mostly people on the other side of the pond who were all in the same time zone. I don't know if I read that somewhere, or just assumed or what. Twin Twist, what do YOU think or merging clans, based on what you know of the skills of the people that you play online with in your clan and the other two?

But you know what I'm REALLY tired of? WHY, out of oddball games, flag games, bomb games, slayer games, and territory games, do I keep on playing goddamn NEUTRAL BOMB?????? Why in the world can't I play a ranked game with a Scorpion or a Spectre????

Well, we've decided to make a new clan. IICombaticonsII has been formed. Membership will hopefully be exclusive to those that team up well. We've already played a few clan matches, but of course, we got the ol secondary treatment. They cheated=we lost. Anyway, if you're serious about a good game, talk to us. We're all Overlords in this clan.
