Bumblebee looks OK, but I really want to see other bots. Hopefully soon.

Well, I may have overstated my dislike for some of the movie designs. I love many of the toys and some of the movie designs are better than others. I like sideswipe's look for the 3 seconds we saw him and Demolisher was rad onscreen. My issue comes with the overcomplexity given to a lot of the bot designs. It doesn't make sense aesthetically when you consider the robots can form perfect car shapes (with no panel lines - like magic) yet when the assume their bot modes lots of them have clunky kibbly arbitrarily busy bodies - ironhide and bumblebee are big examples of this.

Looking at this Transformers Prime design makes me wish the movie designs pushed more elegance and streamlined shapes - not caricatured, real, but so everything fits into better place. I think they got 70% of the way there with most of the movie characters - and seeing this BB design, and how nicely compressed his car parts are - it makes me wish the movie characters had more elegance - like the amazing design work of the iron man franchise. At the end of the day, given how complex Bay's transformation aesthetic was, they could have easily had more awesome, less kibbly designs. Some later ones like Sideswipe, and the Twins' bodies to some extent got better.

    And Jake the Dog rules.

The plot seems to follow some comics, Animated in that Optimus is a new unproven leader.
I hope BB speaks properly in the show.
I wonder when its set - contempary or near future?
As that would effect the Alt modes they have.
The show 'could' be good asuming they don't make it to cheaply. and the writing is O.K.

Well, to an extent I have to disagree, but I'll admit there are some details in the movie designs that can seemed overly complex.
I really don't see a problem with Bee. He has some visable mechanical parts, big deal, he's a robot. But Ironhide, which I actually really like his character design, but I have said that his legs are a little incoherent when you look at then from certain angles. Also, while I liked his design in the concept art, Devastator's in film model did look like he was made just a tad overly complex just for the sake of being crazy complex. Mainly in the face.
But for me, the idea of having the visable robotic bits and parts helps give the illusion that these lims are not just coming out of nowhere. I can believe that parts are moving around from other parts on the alt-mode.
Also, as a bit of an artsit, for years I'd often draw robots that'd look a lot like some of these designs, with visable moving parts and the like, so that's why this aesthetic really personally resonated with me. So I donno, maybe my mind can just process where the parts go in the design better then others who just glance at it and go "Ugh, it looks like junk."

Well first off, Ironman's suit doesn't transform into anything. Unless you count the mark 5 suitcase armor. And even then, I've seen people who have a problem with that design looking like parts are coming out of nowhere. And the suit's design is also kind of "kibbly" in a way.
But the TF: Prime Bee design, I could not see that, just as is, working in a live action setting. It looks like a cartoon character. It does not look like something that I could believe exists in a real life visual. The realistic translation for that Bee design, is the movie character.

Sideswipe I can kinda see, but the Twins, if you really got a good look at them, were not that different from Bee's details.
Also something interesting of note, you never actually see the Twins transform on screen after they upgraded from the Ice cream truck. It was always done off screen. I'm not sure if that really factors into anything, but it was always something that bugged me.

    He does indeed.

I would like to point out the Galaxy Force was supposed to be a reboot but it was dubbed to be a sequel. I was shocked when I read this.

I think it looks appealing. I typically don't appreciate movie aesthetics but this looks like it removes the aspects I don't like (junk pile, insectoid, goat legs, "alien") and throws in some Animated aesthetics. 90% of my interest in Transformers lies with the toys though, so I'm mostly waiting to see those.

Very nice, I like it a lot. He looks very streamlined for one, and the design is different enough from the movie to be appealing.

I was hoping the live action style would die off, but Hasbro wont let it. Guess it makes them money and thats good enough reason for them to keep it going. Just sad that something like Animated, which was a really nice style got the axe so quickly. There are plenty of TF series that I wasnt a fan of, but they never bothered me. Something about Bayverse just gets under my skin.
