Of course because some dumb ass mom is gonna see "TRANSFORMERS", not give a shit what it is, and buy it for her 5 year old. If it had sharp teeth and claws the brat cuts it's self and then mom sues everyone. Hasbro, TRU, the cashier at TRU, and Greg Berger for good measure :lol  .

I'm definitely getting him, just wish he had places to store his sword and gun in bot mode.

That pic was Takara Grimlock, iGear Prime, and Hasbro Starscream. IGear isn't making a Grimlock... And I don't think Hasbro's Grimmy comes with the apron or drink tray either.

yeh Igear only made a smaller version of MP Prime. Not a bigger Grimlock.

For some reason, I was under the impression Hasbro MP Grimlock would come with the read sword like King Grimlock released by Takara. I could've sworn that the box art that was shown, shows a red sword. That was one of the main reason I wanted to get this, for the crown and red sword.

I remember someone who worked at TRU saying that he would first be for sale at a TRU SDCC booth, and then the stores would start selling him after that.

Don't mean to bump up such an old thread but to those that own the Hasbro and Takara Grimlock, is the former more durable? I'm overseas and I saw the Hasbro Grimlock and I'm so tempted to pick him up! :)

I have both and haven't noticed one being particularly more durable than the other (either being quite sturdy for Masterpiece-class toys.)

I have both. I would say quality wise they are exactly the same.

Feralstorm and Batman - thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it! If I can fit him into my luggage I will be getting him! This will be my first Hasbro MP! :D

Black Magnus - nice pixs! Where did you get the custom quints from? Is the quality good i.e. not fragile?
