yes. I really think this deco is worse than the original. seriously it looks terrible.if he has these colors in the movie he would better die quickly or have as much screen time as he had in rotf.
Well, Ironhide looks exactly the same (& here I was hoping for him to be painted red...), Instead of painting Ratchet G1-colours - Bay goes in yet another bizarre direction *shakes head* and I'm guessing the drones are just cannon fodder? What else would they be?
I do agree with that. Seems like that's a detail that should have been left in. But overall the new deco doesn't bother me.
not too keen on it to be honest but that's just me. Hopefully he will look great in robot mode though
I am so glad I didn't buy ratchet before. I wouldn't have wasted my money on the figure next year. The same for Skids.
Could this be an intro to the Stunticons? or at least some of them, if so where Motormaster???. The orange/copperish black car is an Impala SS V8 and there is suppose to be an all black Dodge Charger SRT model as well...
Is the Optimus under the cloth a bit shorter than normal? is he normally the same height as Ironhide in vehicle mode?
Sorry if I skipped this somehow, but I'm thinking Ratchet's vehicle mode looks to have gotten a body change as well. Nothing too major, but it's there....I think. I am kinda tired, so maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me......
Hopefully they will redeco the deluxe at least. Save the voyager shelfspace for new characters. I imagine that the deluxe would rock in this brighter green with metallic grey panels.
All this bullshit with the Predator jets in movies now...I mean, I get it. In real life, it makes sense. Put a bunch of pilots behind monitors and joysticks and have them control unmanner aircraft. What it *doesn't* do is give me any sense that the good guys are in danger. When those F22s tried to bomb Megs at the end of the first movie, and Starscream beats the hell out of a couple of them, I felt like Starscream was kicking some ass. Now he'll just defeat some unmanned jets. Oh well, the good guys will say, and then they'll just send some more.
No. The Topkick is just gigantic. In a group vehicle shot for the first movie it came up almost to the top of the Peterbuilt's cab.
I don't like Ratchet's new design at all. There's not enough contrast between the yellow and the green (that thin black line doesn't cut it). It doesn't make a lick of sense for an emergency vehicle. Maybe it will film better than it looks in that picture, but that's just really sloppy work from their graphic designer.
It's a mixture of him not having his smoke stacks installed, the Topkick being MA-HOOO-SIVE, and the fact Prime is behind Hide
