first of all, all credit goes to Solrac333 for the inspiration and the idea behind this custom. You sir are a true genius. Thank you for the idea. Check out his original custom classics soundwave!

Moving on to the custom itself:
This is my Custom soundwave 5.0 A soundwave with 5 modes, (and its features):

    1. Robot mode: highly articulate. hands (alt hound), feet (TFA soundwave). His basic body comes from universe dropshot and universe blaster.
His chest lights up with two (2) blue LEDs powered by 6 batteries at his behind.
His shoulder canon is a 3 use light: a laser pointer, a white torch and a blue torch.
    2. Cybertronian lamp road fixture mode. Perfect homage to Soundwave's first apperance of "more than meets the eye" G1 episode. His chest lights up for a perfect lamp post usage.
    3. tape deck/ MP3 player mode. fitted with a 4GIG usb powered mp3 player, this cool feature has a standby time of 72 hours non stop. Complete with play, pause, next , rewind, volume and power button. Ready to use for headphones or plug in external speaker system.
    4. Tank Mode. Through Wikipedia, Soundwave on the IDW series was a Communication station with tank treads, and Machine Wars, he was called the "Terror Tank". IT was just fitting also that this was a cybetronian vehicles for him.
    5. Data Transfer mode. As described by Wikipedia, Soundwave has a vast storage capacity useful for the decepticons. AS with the G1 episodes also, Soundwave can hack systems and infiltrate teletran1 or any earth computer system.
Fitted with an 8 GIGabyte USB plus a 4 GIGaByte music storage, just attach the usb wires to the PC/or computer and youre ready to use Soundwave as a real data storage and transfer. He also has satellite solar panels for visually appealling as a real communication device.

Painted using acrylic paints. flat black as base color and added with dark blue and silver. tamiya details hand painted.

you may check out my youtube review on this figure:

    Enjoy!

The only thing that comes to mind when I look at this is:

    "Hey! Nobody calls Soundwave un-crasamatic!"

You sir, create some of the most imaginative customs I've seen, and this is definitely my favorite among all the awesome work you've done. Great job! :thumb

My only knock would be the paint. It looks like you used Bosny/RJ paint on the blue and gold areas. The paintjob could be smoother.

You've made more than a lovely piece of eye-candy. In all reality this is probably the most USEFUL custom ever. It's a table lamp, it's a HUB, it's an mp3 player - it does almost everything BUT make Julian Firies.

That is one sweet-ass Soundwave! :D  Not only do your body mods/LEDs/mp3 player additions work so well together, that paintjob makes him "Pop!" straight off my monitor. Great job Mate! :thumb

Very, very sweet. Looks like the Ultimate Generations-style Soundwave, and actually has a very WFC "feel" to it.

That is the sickest scratch build of a Soundwave I've seen yet. I was just commenting how I wished that War For Cybertron Soundwave would be a triple changer into a deck. Well executed and thought out. I'd love to see how you did the wiring for the MP3 player into that too. Just total win.
