The third one has to be Ratbat, look at his smokestack ears. Overkill would have an opening mouth.

Not bad, but the only one that really catches my eye is Wheelie. Might just be me, but he gives me an Energon Strongarm/Universe Hound sort of vibe. As good as he looks so far, I probably won't get him (haven't gotten any of the fan-made stuff, and don't plan to ever get any).

I'm hoping Hasbro gives us a Deluxe class sized update of him in the Generations line at some point. A repainted Cybertronian Bumblebee with a new head sculpt would be good enough for me.

 

actually, that altmode for Wheelie looks sorta WFC-like....

 

Lazerbeak/Buzzsaw, Eject/Rewind and Wheelie are on my to buy list. That Ratbat/Overkill I am still on the fence about. I will be more tempted if it is Ratbat.

In the end colour pictures, reviews and price will be factors in my decision.

These are intriguing, though for once I'm not sure how likely it is that I would buy them. I still have the Shadow Warrior in my BBTS pile of loot, but I've resisted the urge to get the Rumble/Frenzy set because I think the G1 versions work well enough and I have custom piledrivers on order for them. The other cassette homages could be neat, but the G1 versions are also perfectly acceptable, so oddly enough I'd probably consider getting versions of them like Shadow Warrior that are new characters and don't use the colors of existing cassettes.

The Wheelie interests me most of all. I don't collect Legends, so I don't own the Classics version. I'm also assuming that this one would have much better articulation. So, I'm more likely to get this one in G1 colors and possibly also in other color schemes.

 

Wheelie? Yes, please. ^^ All the previews look very good, cant wait to see them. ^^

 

I like them all. Can't wait intil better pictures arrive. I kinda notice that Rewind/Eject might just be a redux of the Shadow Warrior and eventually became Rumble and Frenzy. The rest I can't hardly tell what they turn into the Overkill and Lazerbeak/Buzzsaw, but I do know what that Wheelie turns into. Thats for sure.

 

Definently on board for all of these. Especially the Wheelie! I don't collect Legends so I don't own the Universe version and based on the Shadow Warrior (and soon to be Rumble & Frenzy versions!) he'll have much better articulation to boot!

Eject/Rewind looks to be a remold of Shadow Warrior/Frenzy/Rumble. I'm sure we'll see at least three versions of this one... one in whatever colors they initially choose and then the ones in Eject/Rewind's colors. Will definitely get an Eject/Rewind colored set to replace my G1 versions with and, when he gets released, Device Label Blaster should be able to hold them as he appears to have the standard 5mm peg holes in his fists.

The Laserbeak/Buzzsaw one has me the most interested. I like the idea of it turning into a backpack that will allow the Commanders to actually store their BFGs! So, with them I probably won't be replacing my G1 Buzzsaw and Laserbeak as they will definitely be being bought to go with my three different Commanders.

Ratbat (sorry... looks more like Ratbat then Overkill) will definitely be a pick up as well. The melee weapon he appears to turn into looks cool as heck. I'd buy all three colored versions for them as well and a purple one if they choose to make it.

I think it's pretty cool that Perfect Effect has found their niche in creating upgrades for the various Commanders that also double as updated versions of various minions of Soundwave and Blaster. It's only a shame that my Music Label Soundwave probably won't be able to hold Frenzy or Rumble in their gun forms as I do not believe his fist holes are the standard 5mm.

 

That Wheelie will be mine.

 

I like all of these and will probably get them to go along with the Shadow Warrior that I all ready have. What ever happened to the PerfectEffect: TAW-02 missile pods for the Classics / Universe Classics 2.0 Transformers? I thought this was suppose to come out in 2009 but I never saw a pre-order for them?

 

im liking rewind/eject and wheelie, but the other figures dont look so great.

 

They look very MEH to me. An unnecessary.

Rewind - Just like their Rumble/Frenzy mold, the transformation into a gun makes little sense.

Laserbeak - We already have Booster X10 (he goes perfect with Music Label Soundwave), Titanium or if you are into futuristic, Cybertron Laserbeak. All three work well as "Classics" Laserbeak.

Wheelie - why? Another custom toymaker company also made theirs, but frankly, Classics Legends Wheelie is a PERFECT hommage of the toy, even comes with the slingshot. There is no further need for this character.

Overkill is the only one I'm marginally interested in, but on the pic, his head looks very ugly and his shape is weird...

 

Ditto and they can keep Wheelie.

 

They all look great, now i just have to get the cash together to buy the F/R set and the E/R set and i will good to go. Some one buy my stuff so i can buy more stuff.
