June is almost upon us and no new footage. I’m a little concerned. You’d think we’d have more gameplay clips by now and not the same rehashed interviews.

 

No. Sometimes marketing only gets a handful of videos to work with. I'd say be glad, because this way you're not spoiling yourself too much..we already know the final bosses, etc..

 

It's a bit more complex than that, but the general idea is correct.

 

I'd be much more concerned with them showing too much. June 22nd will get here soon enough. I picked up Red Dead Redemption to pass the time.

 

no, i'm more worried about how the abilities and weapons seem generic. and the jets would look much better with swords.

 

No,... I am not worried cause I believe that this is happening for 1 reason, NOT to spoil it for those that havn't see much of it yet

 

I'm more worried that this game will end up being mediocre like every other Transformer game I've ever gotten excited about.

That said, I think my worry is unfounded. This game easily looks to be the best offering since the PS2 Armada game.

 

not worried at all, i think we've seen significant enough footage and is on par with most other game releases. We keep seeing the same footage because they're giving interviews to different websites, and we're seeing all the interviews compiled on the transformers centric websites. Honestly, we have an insanely diligent online community and there's always tons of news on all the major TF sites, and that's a luxury most other games don't have.

 

My hype meter has been dying down daily. I know they can't show us everything but it would be nice to get some new interview or footage. Picking up UFC 2010 has also made the hype for this game drop. I'm loving UFC.

 

i wish i could dial down how pumped i am for this game, it would make the waiting so much easier. Would have loved to get Red Dead Redemption, because i loved red dead revolver, but im so poor right now it's not even funny. I'm actually thankful for the recent toy shortage in stores. lol

Ten levels in the entire game? Damn I was hoping for it to be longer. It better not be one of those games you could finish in five hours. I was hoping for maybe 15 or 20.

Well, there's still the future DLC we can look forward to.

 

The general idea when it comes to games are

Great Multiplayer = small campaign

Poor multiplayer = better longer campaign.

I know there are exceptions but during my all my gaming hours and knowledge I and my friends who are equally into games has stated this as a fact

 

UK game sites have the release at 25/06/10  
While my hype for this hasn't gone down any really, i am a little disappointed that there's been nothing new at all - The odd MP trailer or dev trailer was okay but it wasn't anything that new from what we hadn't seen or heard before. On the other hand that's not really too bad a thing, God of War III was kept quite hush hush until the last month, for such a huge game that is and it was nice not having all the spoilers. Counting the days now but Red Dead redemption is keeping me well entertained in the mean time!

 

Developers often will have a few levels finished earlier precisely for demo-ing purposes, Sideswipe80. That's why we're seeing them over and over again, because the ones we AREN'T seeing may still be getting tweaked.

 

This close to the finish line? I would have figured that this game was done by now, with only promotions, instructions, box art, etc. being the only things left to do.

 

How ever will I sleep tonight? (LOL)

Actually, what I have my fingers crossed for is the face that huge sweeping chunks of the game are still stored under lock and key.

We saw a fight with Omega Supreme and we saw artwork on the wall of the developers' offices.

Maybe, just maybe some of the sexier bits are hidden away. Maybe there's an awesome Wheeljack character that we won't see until the game is released. Maybe Devastator (arguably one of the most iconic and well-loved G1 elements) hasn't been passed over and is waiting for us deep within the game.

 

based on the preview of the first boss....yea, trust me, this game is going to take a long time....it is going to be HARD

 

I've been replaying the ROTF game which I still think is an enjoyable game. Not sure why there's so much criticism for it...
