I wonder what TakaraTomy will do with this - chroming a sword that's supposed to be flexible so it doesn't snap in its sheath or something doesn't seem like a good idea (unless they simply chrome-paint the blade). Also, they'd can't really make it more accurate than Hasbro's, given the lack of source material for Drift in Japan (same goes for the upcoming Straxus, too).

Just imagine yourself at about age 10 writing fan fiction where one of the characters is you, and he is more powerful than anybody else.

A characters personification in the fiction has never stopped me from getting a great looking Transformer. That being said, it WILL make me not care for the fiction itself though when characters are written that way.

 

Ditto. I would be more upset with myself if I miss out on having a fantastic figure due to it's characterization, or lack of there of.

On to Drift, Generations needs to be out NOW. LIKE RIGHT NOW! That is a fantastic, and fun looking, figure.

Now that's how you sell a toy!   It's pretty obvious HasTak have put a lot of engineering into him & the only improvement I can think of would be that he needs a slightly darker main colour - a shade closer to this. But other than that, He looks pretty sweet. Can't wait to own him!  

 

I meant future repaint/redeco. And blue is close enough to green.
