That's an amazing deluxe! Can't wait to get him and Blurr. Thanks for the review. Would it be possible to get a pic with him side-by-side with an already released classics/universe deluxe?

Thanks for the added shots. Pretty average size for a deluxe, but still a great looking figure all around.

That pic of him kicking Bludgeon in the face seals the deal for me! I want to pose them that way on my shelf.

I was kinda hoping his eventual retool/redeco would be Boss, the Generation 1 Turbomaster that Drift's transformation and robot mode was based upon. The design looks a little too bulky around the legs to be Blurr, in my opinion.

    Bah.

Bludgeon would kick Drift's arse and send him back to IDW's marketing department (the one that presumably wrote that PR line where they said they want Drift to become IDW's Wolverine).

out of interest, the hinge the windscreen is attached to, is there any way to rotate it so the windscreen faces downwards?

Damn, that toy is awesome. He shall be mine.

Pity about the large sword being bendable plastic, but I personally would have a bendy big sword than no sword at all. Plus he's got those two side blades which look like solid plastic, so that's good. And he does look awesome fighting Bludgeon, differing product lines be damned.

Not sure why collectors hate flexible plastic on long and or thin/fragile objects so much. If they were made of harder plastic, they'd break :/

I don't usually complain, since things like Vector Prime's sword sits just fine. However, Bludgeon sword sits like a wet noodle. I know a lot of people have ways to keep it straight, but I would really prefer to not have to fiddle with a new figure like that.

Well, the hot water method works wonders with VP's sword (and wings), i hope it's the same with other bendy weapons.

Am I alone here in wanting a red repaint with a new head as 'Turbo' from the Go-Bots? C'mon collectors club! I'll have to read up on Drift, he looks kind of interesting, but I'm still hoping for more actual Japanese characters. Starsaber anyone?
