While I'm glad to hear this I'm can't help to wonder if Starscream will end up looking kinda like this...

I honestly don't see what the problem with a look like that would be.

I hope so. That's the best version of Starscream yet.
crazy in a good way! He was cunning, lethal, AND insane!

Don't forget Charlie Adler is also the voice of Super Hero Super Squad's Dr. Doom, too! His best role EVER!

I'd like him to start out as a lowly grunt in the show and then lie, cheat and betray his way up the ranks as the series goes on until he's Megatron's second in command and makes a bid for Decepticon Leadership. Make him more interesting than just already being near the top of the command chain. As well as being a really good flier I've always assumed that's how Starscream got to be his high rank in G1. I wanna see the dirty rise of Starscream.
As for how he looks, gimme more G1/Animated form and less BayForm.

That actually looks pretty cool. Although perhaps a more grown-up face would be better but still...

I don't know I think the cartoonish face gives more room for expression than a more grown-up face would. Plus going so stylized means that they could mess with the proportions more so that the cartoon version wouldn't have such a wide chest like the live action movie version.

Personally, I love the Movie Starscream look... the bulk, the chicken legs, everything. My only issue is the face... he's unable to smirk AT ALL. Starscream's a smarmy bastard, and the movie face doesn't allow him to express that. Keep the body, give him a face that can emote and his standard colors and we're all in.

In face, as far as the movie looks go, only the Decepticons got the short end of the stick... aside from Mudflap and Skids HORRIBLE faces, the bot designs are pretty nice and consistently cool. I blame Hasbro for not making sure Megs and Starscream were cooler... Most of the new DCon's in part 2 got some nice designs.

    No, but I'll youtube it.

I totally agree. That whole look was the biggest problem I had with the movie series. Seriously, someone had a toy picture of a movie figure in their signature and I took a quick look at it and actually felt like swatting at it to try and squish it. That's just the reaction from the look it gives me since I'm so used to bugs/insects having the same features. I would love it if they had a more humanoid form for their robot mode and were in the mold of the first 2 generations, RiD, or the Armada/Energon/Cybertron trilogy. Those aren't all exactly identicle but they at least follow a very close look. (Personally I love the original style best of all the Transformers. They all had very good looking robot modes, and equally pleasing appearanced vehicle modes. Energon and Cybertron were cool looking too IMO. The thing I didn't like on Energon designs was most of the Autobot chests. They all had that soft looking kibble instead of something definative. Other than that they weren't bad. I liked Inferno's look alot.) I just hate the way the movie characters look. They look so primative, bug like, and animalistic. Ratchet even reminds me of a bird, while all the rest have bug eyes. The only one I actually warmed up to was Optimus Prime and he was the closest to the original robot style of any of the movie characters. (Could've done without the 'Pimp my Truck' flames though... not to mention my kind of Optimus Prime always had the cool looking ninja-esque mouth plate.)

Wait so Starscream is gonna be making blatant attempts every episode to usurp leadership?

Probably not EVERY episode (that'd get too old too fast) but there may be more hints in some episodes than others. I just hope they don't make him grow to the size of King Kong like they did in Galaxy Force.

Good to hear, if it's true..I always liked G1 and TFA Starscream, and I even have a little love for the Movie Scream..so somewhere in between those would be fine by me!!:thumb
Should be interesting to see what he will ultimately look like..the above drawing, while nice, kinda looked "too kiddie bot" for my taste..just my humble :D

Starscream should be as he was portrayed back then in G1 and Animated. I wouldn't have him any other way.

He died in 1994, so that'd be some mean necromancy.
