I'm not really 'rage' about it, I'm just a little iffy. That and I've never been all that wowed by any of Jeff Kline's work, when you take away the pretty high-budget animation Sony Pictures could afford.

Plus I've still got 'Animated is over and never coming back ever except possibly as a horribly written sequel comic ala 'Beast Wars: The Gathering' years later' pangs.

Yea I think if we had pictures of Starscream then it would be a lot easier to tell just what the look of the series would be like.

The half of Bumblebee we've seen isn't exactly the best thing in the world for the feel since you could find elements from a lot of different series if you look at the image hard enough. Movie Starscream's look really stands out from other Starscream's in the past so it would be easier to say movie or not.

Really hope he's not got the movie design since I just don't like the design at all so looking at every week doesn't seem like an appealing prospect.

Just got this feeling though that we will not get anything else until Bot Con.

I wouldn't count on that- Orci and Kurtzman are behind that.

However, I am willing to be surprised- they might be better at TV than film.

Actually I thought Gathering and Ascension were pretty well written stories, although Ascension was a bit rough around the edges. They managed to juggle a crazy plot with an insane number of characters well. My opinion, anyway.

I'd be more willing to bet that it's more like "better without Bay than with Bay"

I think the movie designs should stay in the movies. The new animated series should be something completely original. How many years is it going to be until they finally drop the movie designs? We've been stuck with the movie style for 4 years already. And with the 3rd movie coming out it's gonna go into 6 or 7 years. I'm starting to think it might have been better if the movie bombed. I don't know about you guys but I really don't want the movie designs pushed on us for so many years.

They'll drop them when they find something that sells more, quite simply.

Hopefully there'll be some test footage at Botcon, or at least some more show designs.

Well their TV credits includes working on the shows Fringe, Alias, Jack of All Trades, Xena: Warrior Princess, and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Which is not a shabby resume when it comes to put fun into a show, characters, and some pretty good villains.

They worked as both writers and producers on the shows so they have a great deal of experience working different area of production on shows with a strong fan following.

Also agreed. Thanks for posting this, though I wish I hadn't read it for I am growing very impatient of the show's release date :lol

I cannot wait to see this series. I have high hopes for it. I'm diggin' bumblebee's design very much.
