Round Rock Target had a new case of Alternators set out today. I finally got my Dead End, but the 2 Hounds and 1 Silverstreak are still there.
Georgetown Wal-Mart had Ultra size stuff in PL packaging (first I've seen) this morning. They were: 2 x Bulkhead 1 x Landquake (!) Also had a particularly healthy stock of new deluxes: 3 x Tow-Line 2 x Downshift 2 x Sharkticon 2 x Slugslinger 3 x Energon Hot Shot edit: went back this afternoon to find there is additional TF display of just deluxes (including 1-3 more of each of these) in front of the toy aisles. They've got a ton of these things. All of the Mega size stuff (which was 8-10 Ironhides) had been removed from the shelf, I noticed. So hopefully they will have a couple new Mega cases soon.
Now in Phoenix, but just to update one last time in TX. CC and I got the Dreadwing and we also picked up an op/megs 2 pack and a Unicron. Got Slugslinger, Sharkticon and Towline as well. Great finds in Austin, now its time to search for Landquake today after work here in Phoenix. Later Peeps and good luck with the hunting in TX.
I have not had time to post lately, but I did want to mention that pretty much everything new in Energon with the exception of Shockblast, Cliffjumper/Beachcomber and Dreadwing has been found in Tyler as of late. We no longer have Nemesis Stryka or Fireflight (found at Walmart), but we do have Nemesis Prime, who I found last night at Target (obviously).
Sorry for the lateness of this post, no computer access for a while. But on my last trip to your great state I noticed that the El Paso TRU had been totally restocked with new Powerlinx Packeged figures. Several of each new deluxes were there, along with several Green Ironhides, Dreadwings, Shockys, and Cliffys. I only picked up a Slugslinger, Sharkticon, and Silver Hot Shot because it will be about another month before I see them in Mass. This was all as of last Thurs.
Not only are new Energon deluxes on Rollback, we now have an endcap with 4 boxes of Energon Powerlinks Battles bots at the Super Wal Mart on Hwy. 69.

just stopped by walmart at i35 and parmer. found a box with the new mega assortment of energon. picked up shockblast (finally!) and dreadwing, but left energon ironhide and cliffjumper. they also had a towline, all the new wave of terror and omnicons and a couple of hound and silverstreaks. plus got home and my bt meister arrived so a pretty good end to a horrible day.
College Station Target has Powerlinx Hot Shot, Towline, Demolisher, Dreadwing and one other, kind of like a boat. Can't remember his name. Wasn't Mirage.
Er, you beat me to that Shockblast. This morning I checked around all the local TRUs (2), W-Ms (4), and Targets (2) in the Georgetown/Round Rock/Lakeline/N.Austin area. Of these stores, so far only Wal-Mart I-35/Parmer and Lakelike Toys R Us (Shanti nabbed that Shockblast :redface ) have set out a new Mega case. All other stores still have Treadbolt/Ironhide/Jetfire assortments on the shelves (except Georgetown W-M which has had a bare Mega space for a week... I'm watching it like a hawk for Shockblast). It's all pretty depressing that new basics and deluxes are everywhere (and I even saw a few Bulkheads and Landquakes today), but the Mega stuff is still held up... keeping me from my only missing Energon mold.
Round Rock Target and Wal-Mart are the best for getting new Alternators in my searches so far (out of all the stores I mentioned in my post just before this). Right now they both have a good amount of Silverstreaks and Hounds on the shelf... but I'm going to keeping a look out for new Alts in these two stores, as most of the other ones are clogged with Smokescreen.
Yesterday we were at the Target on 290 and Mopac South and saw Nemesis Prime Universe, Bulk Head, Soundwave Universe, and Omega Supreme. All were still there after we left.
After weeks of searching in and around Dallas and Houston I was passing through Austin on my way back home from a business trip and stopped at a Super Walmart north of the intersection of 183 and 35, and low and behold I am now the proud owner of a Deadend. Why the hell have I been unable to find this guy in Dallas and Houston?

He is in Walmart here in Dallas - one per case though. mad Dawg - you didn't have to go so far to get dead end, There were two at the Target that I post about sitting on the shelf for about a week. That location will be my favorite for Hunting, as they seem to get in more new figures more often than the others. And right now they are on sale. (as well as Walmart, I guess they are matching prices) I got Downshift from Target. They have two cases of alternators as I mentioned before. They had basics and deluxes in powerlinx battles packaging, Command ravage, Energon Strongarm,Dinobot Magma, etc., Walmart has Shockblast, one less Dreadwing (the other is mine ) the Ironhide repaint, Towline, Slugslinger, and someone else. I can't remember
